Thank you for watching! What would you love to see in a Frida-inspired jewelry collection? ❤

So good to see you back! I don't know near enough about her life, I have tried to dip into that several times as of late but my own feelings and ...idk how to describe it but the side of the story about disability I find harder to read about given my own situation. I haven't quite been strong enough to spend the time reconciling her own story and the complexities of that for me so I have avoided going to deep with the history and that side of things for the time being (hope how I said that makes sense!). I loved hearing you talk about her, your connection with her work and seeing the pieces you've been working on- they're gorgeous! Those dainty roses were lovely and can totally see them as hair accessories, both as individual clips and the headband, I can picture that being lovely. The blue house ones are probably my favourite (and I think you're being to hard on yourself with them!) They have an essence of a full moon and that mystical quality of love and devotion as well as the darkness of night in both literal and emotional ways as well as the beauty that the moonrays can bring into those nights in the glistening and sparkling nature of it (literally and emotionally). Anyways, I think each version of that design is beautiful in a new way and the ones with the dangly bits seem like they might also be good for the brooches worn at the centre of the top of a button up shirt (like where you would a bow tie or cameo alternative) I can't think of the right name for the life of me right now but that style of clip or pin that has been popular in the 50s and previous when collared shirts were popular for women. Come to think of it those dainty roses might also make some lovely collar pins/clips if you wear that type of shirt :)
I could spend far too many words writing how I loved each one of the designs as they are stunning even if you don't feel they are quite right or exactly what you want for this collection-they are stunning none the less!
(As were the earrings you were wearing, which I am guessing are also your own design? I took a screenshot so I could use my things to look at them more closely like I did the other designs, you are so talented and have such a good eye with designs and the finishing touches.)
Anyways, I have blathered on more than enough. Hope you're doing ok. (I hope my letter from a while back arrived safe and sound, I've been struggling to keep on top of things this spring and missed emailing to say, but I do hope it did actually get to you and has found you doing well. Miss you! xxxx)

Annie!! Sooo happy to hear from you. Your comments always make me so happy.
Thank you so much for giving me your feedback on my pieces.
Yes, I did make the earrings I was wearing. I thought they seemed like something Frida would wear so I just thought it fitting.
The Blue House design is my favorite. I never even considered how it was reminiscent of moonbeams. Now, I can't stop seeing that in them! I love it! Thank you!!
I can totally see why you would find it challenging to study her given her disability. I find it challenging to hear or learn about it.
      I miss you!
I have received your letters. I haven't responded yet, but will soon! I have so much to tell you.
Sorry that it's taken me so long to respond. I read your message right away, but I wanted to sit down on my laptop to respond as I too tend to blather a bit and didn't want to respond with too many typos.
I hope you've been well! Love you!!
