Oh Jessica the purse turned out beautifully in the end! I love how you added the ribbon and beaded handle on it. The past year and a half (since oct 2019) I started doing embroidery more myself! I have done a few designs that I transferred to fabric myself but mostly I got really into some pre stamped pieces that I buy the DMC floss for separately but the fabric part us taken care of. Thus past tear slowed down some as I had been doing them while at hospital for IVs which gave me a few hours a few times a week to do it without interruptions, I had thought I would get tonnes done this past year but... somehow that didn't happen (I kept buying the sets though so I am well stocked now!) But none of mine were as nice or fancy as this kit you have or finished as well as you did here. And don't even get me started on your beaded embroidery brooches, like seriously - so beautiful! I may have merely shallow ties of affection for American iconography but seeing this made me briefly wish that wasn't true, you do such beautiful work. Anyways, I will quit my gushing at you. But I will continue to think of your beautiful work, you have definitely inspired me to get my embroidery again :D
Oh, Annie! You are not alone, at all, in not getting as much done as you'd hoped last year given everything that happened. I feel like three of the twelve months, were sort of a blur of unproductive days. I would LOVE to see your work one day. Hopefully you'll be able to share a few images here and there. I have yet to do any original embroidery designs - in the traditional sense. I hope to do more embroidery soon and hopefully do half as well on my own as I did with this kit. I'm so glad you love my work. Your kind words mean so much to me as I know you are quite a skill crafter. Let's hope 2021 allows us to go about more clear headed and do all the things! xoxo
