This is one of the most Goon Show python sketches I think python did during the series. This reminds me of a Goons sketch where they use a gas oven to get to King’s Cross station AND to somewhere in 1890’s Afghanistan

Laugh if you will, but if --- no WHEN --- the World goes orthogonal, then those with this training will, umm, y'know....lead the way.

This is not funny. Select few people train for years and risk their lives .... and this just makes light of it.

First, this sketch is a perfect illustration of a certain type of useless advice. Second, I've seen this sketch on and off for over 30 years, and I never noticed the dog is in forced perspective and Graham isn't even really touching him. Till the very end when the camera angle changes and he suddenly bends over to hold the dog to cover this. Till he does that, the appearance if you're not looking close is that the dog is absurdly big. Nice throwaway detail.
