One of my all-time favourite episodes. Question does anyone know the music they used as the theme for "The Golden Age of Ballooning"? I would appreciate it.
The Light Entertainment War is my favorite episode and it's one of the last. I frequently discuss the "woodiness" and "tinniness" of words far more than I ever bring up silly walks or dead parrots.
Series 4 had some quality moments- the court martial (military tribunal), the banter and the Woody and Tinny Words are all up to their usual standard, as is Buying an Ant, the sketch about BBC Programme planners trying to capitalise on Dad's Army and massive public interest in motorways, and the Most Awful Family in Britain. This sketch is as bad as Monty Python's Flying Circus ever got. It can only get better from here... (with the exception of Mr. Neutron).
I love how every time Graham Chapman plays a butler, he mimes holding a tray.
The lengths these guys went to ,to produce a skit was incredible .Fantastic.
I love the different objects you can buy: A life size model frog that croaks the words "Golden Age of Ballooning,"
I've wanted one of those frogs for almost forty years.
@@soundawakevideo3026 I've wanted one for at least three years since I first saw this too :)
I can never see the name Bartlett anymore without thinking of this sketch.
What a funny gem... "I'm so excited I could hardly wash"... and now I'm going to take a shower.
The end of this is pure Dada. "An attractive bake-lite case for storing motorway construction plans, in the shape of a balloon."
4th season so fucking underrated
My favorite Python episode.
You are the cleaner of the Montgolfier Brothers.
Donal Callum The music they used is the Sinfonia/Overture to "La fiera di Venezia" by Antonio Salieri
Grazie, signore.
Thank you so much! I was wondering. Bless you and all others who write the names of pieces for us! :)
Just after Monteverdi and just before Mozart.
Graham Chapman was great in this. One of the Pythons best sketches

Someone said it's, La Fiera di Venezia by Antonio Salieri.
The final season still had some funny moments after Cleese left. Somebody say something.
Yes, it can't all be dead parrots now can it?
Something.....
it was really surreal and wonderful
