I got a 600 mk1, but I also got K8 1250 too! the 1250 is such a smooth bike to run!
I'll like to get the 1250 one day. I love the Bandit. Currently have a Himalayan and vfr800fi.
@@EpicAdamMotovlogs youll deffo enjoy the 1250! What a difference to ride :)
own 2 of them for the last 25 years +. not full of electronics. can be a bitch to start in the winter if left for a few days outside. watch out for rust. carbs can give trouble. lots of parts about. has power for every situation.
I loved the bandit. I had trouble with the carbs. That's on one of my videos. It got bogged down on a hill. Pretty scary.
Suzuki gsx750f is a good bike and there cheep
First of all I will always recommend that you buy a bike in winter as you stand a better chance of getting it cheap. Secondly, I own a Classic 500 and like you I wanted something a little faster. So I have just picked up a 2006 Kawasaki ER6F which does the job.
@Familyshots-co3bm I've bought a vfr800fi since making this video. It's currently locked away for the winter so I'm enjoying the himalayan again.
Bernhard Stravenue
What!! 😆
60 in 3rd? Is it broken? Mine is instant ban speed in 3rd..
Did I say 60 in 3rd? I'm used to the bike now. I know what it's capable of.
@EpicAdamMotovlogs yep, I took it easy on mine for a wee while until I got used to it, but aye, that 3rd gear is a cracker, you can get from diddery town speed to just over 3 figures in an instant. I keep thinking about selling it then I just look at it and change my mind!
What temperature does your fan kick in without using the switch?
I haven't noticed it kick in yet.
Im going there on Sunday
@@EvieLyons-s7w I didn't know it was time again. Have fun.
Just bought my 2008 Bandit 650 as my first bike, love it!
Congratulations. It's a great bike.
It failed because of a loud exhaust?! I took my Z100 with racetec straight through exhaust with de-cat in for MOT and just got the usual advisory. Bizarre.
Yep. The tester was a bit of a twat
Was skanked by a motorcycle garage once. They put dirty oil on the fork. I had just changed the fork oil and was bright red. The bike was immaculate and checked before it went in. Came out the workshop we not allowed in with black dirty oil/grease smeared on the fork chrome. I then rode it over a mile of speed bumps with no leak. Rang trading standards and they said to not move the bike if you want to report it. Only go to people I trust for my car and bike
They sound dodgy. Definitely avoid them.
Glad to know you are still alive! 😀 Sounds like the place that failed you is one to avoid. Is hard riding bikes that are so different from each other, I really struggle on my XSR vs my V-Strom... I imagine it'll be really weird getting back on the Aprilia once it is fixed. Get well soon mate (unless you already have and time travel has happened via RUclips post date vs recording date)😀
I film, edit and post most of videos in a day 😆. I'm not feeling too bad now. Ready for the gym on Monday. It's strange that I found it harder getting used to the himalayan again.
Glad you're alive! You'll have to let me know where you ended up going for your MOT.
Will do.
Glad to see you back mate 👍
Cheers mate
Eyup! Bad luck on the mot place but sounds like it worked out in the end! Wouldn't worry about getting things out. Your done when your done! Its what im telling myself 😂😂😂😂 take care and stay safe mate 😊
Cheers. I'm not sure I'm done yet though
Hi Adam. I was in exactly the same position a few months ago. I ride with my wife as pillion a lot and the Classic 350 manages that extremely well. When I'm solo, it's great for exploring the lanes. What it's not so good at, is doing the longer distances on "big" roads. This summer we added a 2017 T120 to the fleet, the first time I've ever owned two bikes. Fortunately, I was able to afford the Triumph too. It's a bike I'd really wanted since they came out in 2016 but the price of them then was unattainable. But this one came up at a great price. It's in fantastic condition and not too high mileage. I didn't get rid of the Classic 350 for three reasons. Firstly, he's named "Ernie" after my late father. Secondly, the poor residuals meant it wasn't worth selling. But thirdly, although I love my T120 the Classic 350 is still my go-too for most of my riding.
Thanks for watching. Do you watch Saddlebags73? He has a classic 350 called Ernie.
Don't worry to much on your content, just go with the flow because the most important thing is we love what we are doing. I'm glad to add my self to your channel. Always pray before you Ride. Ride Safe always with your limit.
Thanks for watching. Stay safe also
Barnstaple Bridge 520ft, 16 arches. Bideford Bridge 677ft, 24 arches.😁 Oh f 🤐
The old bridge is the best
@@EpicAdamMotovlogs they are both old 🤔
I'm glad your still alive, MOTs are all dependent on the place you take it. I'm lucky enough to have my MOTs done at GVs, the MT-01 failed though because the indicator died
That's an easy fix. My speedo died on the way to the mot test
Pleased you’re ok my good man..I think Mr MOT No.1 is a bit of a knob, that’s an advisory all day surely..ps, you need a new glove..see you in a couple of months ha ha..hope the chest is better soon too mate 👍
I wondered if someone would notice the glove 😆 definitely time for new ones. I have another video idea and I'm free tomorrow.

never been to an mot place that cares about baffles they just put it as advisories, you got a proper picky tester
Yep. He tried defending his opinion as well. Lost me and some mates as customers that day.

Hi, Great video, I got mine recently and I am looking for a better wind protection than the original windschild, I get too much wind at the bottom of my helmet (I am 1,86m). Do you know the model of the windschild you have on your VFR ? Are you happy with it ?
Hi. I'm 5ft11 (180cm). I'm happy with the screen. I know a few people who have tried lots of different screens and never find a perfect one. Unfortunately, it might be something you have to live with. I don't know what screen I use.
A hyabussa is the perfect 1st bike 😂
my bandit 1250 sounds like a vacuum, what exhaust you you have on yours?
I think that's an acropovic. I have the same on my Himalayan now. I'll probably get Black Widow on my vfr800
Poor marshalling. 💩
the 411 is a classic & will live on, the market is so big, the 450 has a lot to live up to it,s brother can it do it we will see,
I don't think it's living up to it at the moment. RE have some great bikes. I think they are going to make one, which is a mix of the himalayan and the interceptor. That's interesting.
Snobbery. Carling is piss and who cares what size your balls are?
Enjoy the bugs. #freemeal
So it's a good helmet for everyone who doesn't usually expose their eyes to the dust from the road riding 40mph with a visor open. Thanks for the review. Looks like a helmet I have to take into consideration.
It's not the best helmet I've had, but I have no issues with it. My visor doesn't close perfectly. It leaves a little gap on one side. I'm not sure if that's a common problem.
Was about to say the same. What a joke of a 'review'. haha
@CopperRidesBikes It's not a review. It's first thoughts and first ride with it on. Thanks for watching though. I used review for the title because it gets more views.
Sliders brought me here loved that TV show it had so many odd ball cars.
Sliders brought you hear 😆 I loved that show as well.
All good to feature it, Adam?
Yeah. Go ahead
Thanks!
Hey there, it's me again. It's used in the latest episode. Please, do check it out and tell me your thoughts. Sorry if I messed up anything!
Probably going to re-use it as well, to show people the full story huh? If you let me of course!

Love my ‘99 600s so much, I’m picking up an n1200 to keep it company on Saturday. Been riding for over half a century and had never owned a Bandit until two years ago! 👍
@@philcarter3324 ooh 1200n is fantastic. I think I'll get myself one
Enfield attracts attention.Mighty handy on RUclips.
My 96 Suzuki Bandit videos still do really well. A lot of people look for the older bikes on RUclips
Really the cam better exhaust and freeflow air cleaner boosts that bike 5 h.p. and 5 ft.lbs. and adds a whole lot to the top end .
What is the Number 1 question every reviewer needs to cover? Does it start and run when you want it to.
All the time. It just failed its MOT but its controversial. Apparently the exhaust is excessively noisy and the brakes are failing. Things I can fix myself but I don't think it should have failed
@@EpicAdamMotovlogs Heard some MOT stations failing the 411 because of the exhaust sound, which is completely normal. It's the MOT garage at fault, not the bike. Done crazy miles on my 411 & huge distance tours & it's never ever let me down. A bike for the real world to go anywhere & in any weathers. Also a future icon.
Its basically a tank. Doesnt have to be good at anything but being reliable
It's a great bike & only closely beaten by my vfr800fi
I thought the same with the what pump..standing in full gear..erm, perhaps the one with the bike next it lol..I’ve had that loads of times too…unreal ha ha..looked a nice day out..gutted for you on the ‘ped though…I’m currently in saving mode for a c90 or an Innova myself. C90s here in the NE seem to be going for crazy money. Just hoping one at a fair price will materialise eventually 😐😞
They are crazy money but you used to be to get them really cheap. My sister had a c90 in the 90s
Shame about the Cub, especially after having spent out on tickets to go collect it. Looked like an awesome explore all the same, so silver linings 🙂
Yeah. I have another chance to buy it but I backed out. I will use that money to travel instead
@@EpicAdamMotovlogs good plan
@@EpicAdamMotovlogs bout time for a new vid from you hey Adam 😀 am missing your vlogs mate 🙂
@@HippoDrones thanks. I filmed something the other day. I'll see what I can make from it, or I'll film another video
I had/have this problem, after a few years of riding u have done all local routes so many times and u just need new ones to spice things up. Plan to go somewhere, plan a new route, for me it sometimes means driving into the netherlands or germany (im from belgium) or just make my gps do a random 3 hour loop. Doing the same thing just gets boring.
I recently took a motorcycle (vfr800) on the motorway for the first time and I actually enjoyed it. Further distances are more likely now because of that.
Watch out! They eat their young down there!! 😂
I carry shiny stuff to distract them. It's all good.
You really are begging for Punishment. 😬Two of the most popular places on the North Coast of Cornwall in Silly Season. almost glad I missed this, although it would have been good to meet up. PS Cracking Drone Work
@CornishMotorcycleDiaries it was a bit busy. I can't take credit for the drone work. I used someone else's footage. I went to Glastonbury during a hippy festival a couple days after this. That was mega busy
The Cornish are generally okay, apart from the despicable things they do to cream teas. Nice dronage 👍 - very well produced. I've been to Tintagel Castle. The walk there is cool but the castle itself is fairly underwhelming. #creamfirst
I liberated the drone footage, so I can't take credit. #Creamfirst indeed
Besides the corpse at the road side, lovely day out mate! 😮🤣👍 Oh & nowt wrong with a slow pump every now & again! 🤪✌️
I usually don't give so easy during a slow pump but it took too long
Did you go on the VFR in case you needed to escape quickly? Just don't let the Kernish smell your fear.
It was that or blend in with locals and go undercover, but I couldn't find a donkey
You’re 100% right-family time is the best time. Bikes are a pleasure and an escape, but they should never replace family time. Do what makes you happy: enjoy the ride!
Yep, I'm planning to go on 2 more good rides this summer. My riding won't end. I still ride in the winter but will do a couple multi day trips soon.
