As I inderstand it, the person who's entered the hazard 1st has right of way. We have a narrow bridge and even though traffic from one direction has priority there are still arguments and hold ups.
I'm automatically finding anyone driving a BMW, Mercedes or Audi in the wrong😄😄 Over here quite a few drivers of these brands don't think traffic laws apply to them.
They are all to blame. There is no particular right of way in law or custom at that narrow bridge so good traffic flow is determined by common sense. Stupidity and stubbornness causes problems. Typical of today's attitudes unfortunately 😡
Doesn't matter who's in the right and who's in the wrong, someone needs to be the bigger person and stop wasting everyone's time. I didn't think there was that much f#ckwittery in Devon, my estimation has gone down significantly😂 😂😂
He was pretty much on the bridge but was being a dumbass, you can tell his type, although all this was over nothing really.... What a waste of their time..... Good to see this, typical Braunton folk
I'm gonna put this out there -- maybe she was one of those drivers that is so bad at reversing she felt unwilling to do so, I've been in the same boat, had full right of way she came towards me driving passed a huge pull in (lines of parked cars) and simply was incapable of reversing. I did however, yield after getting out of the car! ............................ zoik 😶🌫
Bit hard to tell without being there but if he was on the bridge already, she could clearly see him from her direction, so should have waited. If he was starting to come on to the bridge, she could clearly see him and being local, would know he couldn't have seen her approaching from his direction, so out of courtesy should have let him go. We don't know the whole story but by that point, her attitude was crap and seemed rather entitled. Reaching into someone's car? Whatever, it would've been easier for her to reverse. Well done to the man with the cup of tea! This happened to me when I was travelling through a narrow bit and someone drove into it and expected me to reverse back 20 yards and round a corner, instead of reversing one car length. I only lived 20 yards away, so I got out and started to walk home! They then reversed with much foul language so I got back in the car, gave them a cheery wave and drove up my driveway 😂
That was epic!!😂🤣. I'd sit there all day on a tennis umpire's chair. Highly amusing. A few miles from here there are 2 bridges a few miles apart similar but there is a priority right of way which works fine.
Whoever is occupying the bridge first has the right of way as you are hardly going to get halfway over and then reverse back. But realistically people need to stop being so sad & selfish and remember the world doesn't revolve or stop for them.
Without being there when it happened you don't know who was right or wrong. In fact, they were both wrong for being childish pricks. The women had the easier reverse though and more view on the approach to the bridge so maybe she should of waited.
There must be some Type of Rule OR desire to cooperate. If you Lack the Latter than yOu will Have to Have the Ruler. However, they BOTH created a hazard and a violation when their vehicles' combined weight exceeded the posted limit for the bridge. There is a sound reason why the bridge is ONLY open to oNe limited vehicle at a time. It happens to be WeaK.
They're both childish really. If it was just the two of them they can do it all day but holding other people up is out of order.
Agreed. I would have moved back as soon as I saw a 3rd car

That sounds right to me
That was fascinating, I could so easily have been that bloke 😳
You'd make a great bridge troll 🤣🤣🤣
@@NooBiker Thinking about it I actually might 😂
Same. I can be a stubborn git sometimes

Amen 🤣
That's the way it is. That's life
I'm finding in the UK you can add to that list Skoda drivers.

Yep. It's hard to call
I noticed that. I’ve been driving 40 years and people seem so entitled nowadays and always put themselves first!

I didn't realise either but this sent me down the rabbit hole

if she's really late for work shouldn't she move lol
Funnily that car was reversing 🤣
I think both drivers were just stubborn idiots 🤣
Yep, they were both being stubborn. Hard life

I wish I filmed it myself
Both as bad as each other 'I can't back down'. Surely there are bigger wins in life than this
That was what I was thinking. Maybe one of them needed a win
All at blame in this one. Personally I’d find my time too valuable to be arguing and reverse and crack in with the day. 🤷♂️
Same but I can be stubborn

5 ton so they were probably close to the limit
Think he needed his nappy changing
I thought I replied to this already. I think they need to chill. Maybe they should learn to ride.
Can’t we all just eat cream teas and live happily ever after?

Nooooo
It's only jam first if you're doing a handstand in Australia
