This is what being a biker is all about. Firstly making stupid decisions and learning the hard way but more importantly calling on fellow bikers who will always come to help. Good team work and biker spirit 👍
Brilliant mate. So good of Nathan to take time out of his day to help you out. Remember to pass it on - like when I get stuck somewhere for example 😊👍🏼
@@EpicAdamMotovlogs I quite fancy a bit of that (not the tugging ) Need engine bars though so I can drop it without stressing. Might try on the nirthan burrows rd first 🤣 That's pretty off road!!
Great to have friends like Nathan who will come out to help out, definitely wouldn't of liked to of pulled that out of the mud so fair play to you both. Enjoyed these videos, definitely lessons to be learnt but I personally think you've done so well fella. Hope you're well.
Yeah, that was pretty extreme. I struggled through something similar on my Himalayan but my skills weren't really up to it. I didn't need a rescue but the experience had me thinking more clearly about the limits of my riding. No more of that for this old man! I'm glad you had Nathan available to help. Imagine the challenge for a solo rider with no help available. I remember an episode of Itchy Boots in Central America when her bike bogged down in mud. She had to lay it down and drag it sideways. And she was only attempting to get it a few feet. I suppose your experience is instructive to all of us who aren't experts to be careful what we bite off! A fine video. Thanks for sharing it.
Hahahaha, love the close out! :-D but yes... I can't believe you waited all through summer to go out after biblical storms and rain to do your first solo green lane... You are truly EPIC Adam! 😀 You have some handy friends in you phonebook, well done Nathan!
Nathan said he got some good footage but didn't show it in his latest video, where he talks about 'some chap' he rescued 😆 Green lanes are more fun in the mud.
Fair play for giving it a go. Maybe not such a muddy lane next time, to get confidence. Did you notice how better progress you made in the "river" on PT 1 when you got your feet up and went, rather than dithering with the clutch all the time? Don't give up and maybe go with Nathan next time.
Nathan's a handy bloke to know, i didnt realise that he offered a recovery service! You must send me his number for future use! 🤣🤣 I often go up that lane when I'm game for a challenge, but I'm in awe of you sekecting it as your first lane! I know ive offered before but if you want a guide to some gentler starter stuff, Im quite happy to come out with you (and I'm certain Marc would say the same)
So in hindsight which of course we all have, learn the lanes in the summer and in the autumn, winter and spring ride them at your peril. Well done for giving it a go👊👊✌
What an absolute legend: the calmness that Nathan brought to the proceedings was tangible. Definitely a huge benefit having him on speed dial. Fantastic vlog and thanks Adam, for the share. Note to self: always turn around at the farm gates. P.S. my Himalayan is due delivery in the next few minutes 🎉🎉🎉
Aye, that was a tad moist mate 😂…how mad was the missus when you walked in the house caked in mud?😐😂…well done again Nathan, what a legend, get that man a cape 👍

Just marvellous of Nathan. And marvellous if you to publish these 2 parts 👍

Balls deep motorcycles & also engine deep in mud takes dedication man!!! 👍😎
Cheers. Im just trying to figure out what to do for the next video. I think I'll avoid the lanes

A question. Why do we never seem to take off lids despite having the exertion of recovery? I’m sure it can help but we just don’t seem to.
