I do not understand people who go through the games of the Half life series without music at all, justifying this by saying that the music is superfluous and only hinders. I do not agree with this, music in such games is a separate kind of art. The perception of the game and its atmosphere depend on how good the music will be. It is impossible to imagine the games of this series without such wonderful soundtracks, and fans are doing truly crazy things. Bro, this is really amazing, this soundtrack has been stuck in my head for a long time.

Сам по себе простой, не напряжённый, успокаивает нервы, но в то же время он очень атмосферный и задаёт настроение всей игре. I like that the tracks in captive freight all ride the line between epic and laidback. Like Barney is just locked in, but lightly bobbing his head to the destruction he’s causing.

I sincerely feel that if half life and half life 2 mods can have their own steam page, black Mesa blue shift deserves its own page as well since it very much is it’s own game.

Honestly feel like this needs to be the end credits music. I mean come on, think about how emotional that would feel after they make the final chapter and as it fades to black you hear this (maybe a slower version but still). If not I'm sure whatever song you do make for the end will be just as good. Honestly your work is some of my favorite video game music period.

This track is bad ass. The addition of "The Keeper" makes it matchable to Gordon Freeman. Seriously, Daver. Your tracks are amazing. The epicness is on a whole new level. I am listening to all of them on loop, and I don't think I will get tired of them. You rock, man 👍

This track illustrates the emotions I felt when I was terminated from my dream job. A mixture of shock, devastation, and of being broken. I'm still not over it, but listening to this in a way feels therapeutic.

A character development conveyed by the soundtrack. Up until this point the music sounded like a shock from disaster, the feel of being lost in it, incertitude and fear as HECU got everyone in a crosshair and we used covers and hidey holes. And when this remix of "going on duty" theme from Insecurity plays, it shows Barney regaining control over situation. The confident and triumphant tones are back on. He's doing his job. He protects the scientists. From a tank and incoming bombing! Делай, что должен. И будь, что будет. Очень круто.
