"Almost there. Just hang tight, Doctor Rosenberg..." When I drove train for Rosenberg to get him out of container, this eerie, intense track made me both nervous and anxious. Like "Your goal is near, so keep it up. You are almost there." Also, I feel...that gigantic flow? in the whole chapter 4. Before that I've only felt this "flow" in Black Mesa's On A Rail Uncut levels, Surface Tension(Definitive edition) levels, and the whole Xen levels. And this track describes that flow and nailed it. Without this soundtrack, Black Mesa: Blue Shift won't be the same.
Absolutely love how the music sort of evolves as the game progresses. The sound is consistent, but it’s different than what the music started like in the beginning of the game
This is just too good, i demand that Blue Shift becomes an official DLC for Black Mesa and everyone that worked on it receive quite the lot of money for all the good work, specially with the music and level design part.
The part near the ending of the chapter when i was waiting to meet rosenberg while i was driving that train it felt like when i experienced that great game played years ago but this time it would be much more intense i almost cried remembering the game that i liked most Barney Calhoun a simple guard not so special like gordon or sheepard but definitively a man who bravely fought for his colleagues to find a way to escape from that hell
I believe there must be a realization for Calhoun - so far he was fighting Xen fauna and HECU silencing everyone from Black Mesa staff was a unexpected obstacle that can be overcame at careful step-by-step. What this track illustrates for me (and probably anyone else - spoiler alert from OpFor) is you are exploiting Black Mesa's equipment to save important person, not realizing there is a eerie feel of "There will be nothing much you come back to". You are giving these trains a last attention of "I'm here with you" before you'll definitely leave and forget about them. If these machines had a soul, I can imagine the feel of helplessness. Someone manufactured them not realizing these will get destroyed, but these will do their last labor to help someone out of the madness these machines haven't caused.
I'd say the same thing as Sexy Nutella in the comments did. Navigating the train while the music got more intense was definitely breathtaking moment, your soundtracks are definitely one of the best I've ever heard!
This track (and a lot of the other tracks) feel like mix between Mirror's Edge and Half Life 2's soundtrack, and i love it for that ,it feels so unique, cool and mesmerizing to hear Amazing work 👍
Oh great Scott! I was about to literally ask you on discord, for this track. This is the vibe man. With this, i may safely presume, that you will be releasing the freight house shootout OST too, right?
These tracks and the tracks from Azure Sheep are the daily songs I listen to while driving. I must say you can definitely tell the difference from the 2 games on soundtracks alone. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it's like Blue Shift has an aggressive feel to the tracks with fantastic build-up while also while being more electronic focused. While Azure Sheep has great ambient music while having great combat tracks that, to me, feel less aggressive. I may be wrong. Regardless, your work is fantastic, and I look forward to every track you upload. Also, will you be releasing the song for the Chapter 4 trailer?

Thanks a lot! I'm really glad!
This makes me feel like I’m driving a car during dawn. A new day, a new adventure.

Barney did On A Rail before Gordon even got to fry a tentacle
OK, now I'm REALLY curious on your take on Xen music. Stellar work so far.
