God, the soundtrack for this mod is fantastic. Has a distinct style whilst still sounding like Black Mesa, which, in turn, means it sounds like Half Life. Love it so much.
Black mesa soundtracks doesnt sound like half life , black mesa blue shift too but this isnt a bad thing , having a distinct style is good and they still kick ass
I really like the slow transition of the tracks' "feel". In Chapter 1, the tracks were calm, soothing while introducing us to B.M.R.F, as if Barney felt himself like home there. Chapter 2 - "Insecurity" - had that "home" feeling as well while also introducing us to the "Keeper" motive, noting Barney's job as a security guard - a keeper of sorts - with a certain determination to it. While Chapter 2's ending and the whole 3rd one were so, I don't know, alien to me (in a good way)? Because Barney was injured, lost, probably afraid as heck, most of his friends gone or zombified. His role as a "keeper" has received a good blow because there was almost no one to protect and he had to survive himself. But after learning of HECU's true orders, Chapter 4 goes into a more determined feel, because Barney has a goal of finding Dr. Rosenberg. And after teaming up with Otis and Murdock, themes like "H.E.C.U", "RESIST", "Keeper Ultimate", are like a sign that The Keeper is back and at large. === Or I just tend to overanalyze things.

Классная и запоминающаяся мелодия, одна наверное из лучших, отлично вписалась под ритм перестрелки, даже в файлы за ней залез, пока ждал официального релиза. P. S. После нескольких прослушиваний этого трека и игровой версии, конкретно релизный трек чувствуется очень кастрированным, как будто чего-то не хватает, по сравнению с игровым, хотя скорее всего меня просто подвели мои же собственные ожидания без негатива

На самом деле игровой вариант очень сильно обрезан в плане частот, тут наоборот потел, чтобы и басс был, и ритм
Это заметно, качество после игры значительно улучшилось, если можно было бы удлинить трек, то получилось просто идеально.
