Yep I think so as long you find the fitting mag. It's a detachable mag, so you can put whatever fitting one you find. However there are some regulations here in Canada that might limit that.

Sorry this is a small lake that don't get stocked regularly, plus it's a lake that my buddy Mike discovered, so I won't be sharing the name of it out of respect for the locals. I have fished Zelma lots in the summer when I lived in Saskatoon. Always had lots of luck in the summer, but little luck in the winter. It used to have big perch there too I think.

@LuRanOutdoors you should try again they restocked the walleye and pike and there are perch coming after your spoon every 10 seconds lol.

That's awesome man!!! It'll be a great cam for looking at a Pike tip up all day. Such long battery life, and the small cam is less likely for losing big fish.

I'm not sure what others do, but I've seen people keep 40 inch pikes... I like to let the big ones go, as they are the breeding stock. The big ones don't taste as good either. And people keep even more big walleyes, unfortunately. In Saskatchewan typically you can keep one big fish according to the regulations.

Oh yeah for sure. I mean I release all my big fish not being a competitive fisherman. Lots of people here in sask practice catch and release!

I really like the simplicity and reliability of the bolt action, and the biggest factor is the affordability of 308win ammo. But I would love a 30-30 for sure... maybe one day!! Thanks so much for commenting!!!

I sure have. I actually made a video about getting back into the kayak in deep water, and in that video I believe I tried to stand in it. I am 5'11" and probably 170lb at the time, and i don't think it was too stable for me at the time . Feel free to check out that video.

That's awesome man!!! You'll like the camera angle lot. The footage in this video was shot after the sun already past the hills, so low light, and we were still using it fine. Hey great question!! Depends on the clarity of the water and the species you are going after. But for multi-species in clear water, I do like a 3.5 to 4 feet apart.

Oh wow, thanks so much for the tips on keeping this thing running for a long time! I always find myself filling up gas before or halfway during a snow blow anyways, may as well just fill her up at the end every times, makes sense!!!

Thanks very much!! That's awesome! I wish I had gotten the stainless too, but luckily it's pretty dry where I live. As for optics, I just have a Bushnell 4-12 x 40. But I would recommend more magnification if you are wanting to shot long distance. I was able to use mine up to 300 yards. But any further, a better scope would definitely help!

Yes they do!! You can see in the video, when I first took it out, i was screwing on the reel handle.
