It’s awesome to see two young men engaging in the sport with such enthusiasm! Definitely true your zero at 200 yards, and calculate/confirm your dope at 300 to 400. Chronograph for accurate velocity (the box lies). Also remember, your group sizes at 200 will be double at 400, so your rifle set up/skill level will partially dictate your maximum range.

Li has a very nice setup. You’re not far out. Stop by local gun shop and I’m sure they’d have great staff to point you in the right direction for an upgraded optic. Hunts Hunting in Gull Lake is great for advice.
