Why Most Relationships End
Relationships rarely end because of a lack of love. They more commonly end because of a lack of connection.

    That’s for sure That’s why doing the simple process of a fact finding facing moral inventory of ourselves we can see how our instincts have run our lives then we end up mainly seeing how much fear we have after all this work, though we find out that any life run on self will and instincts can hardly be a success This has been written about since the 20s and the 30s, but it seems like there’s too much information out there to distract us. I myself was very very confused people that are truly struggling have not got the capacity to listen to all this. They need simple solutions to see how, our instincts have destroyed us. You have to be ready to abandon yourself with this process, but you might have to exhaust yourself some more because most people recover their selves and their soundness of mind at the speed of pain.

    Hi, Jillian, thank you for such a profound and insightful episode. There was a lot of takeaway. I appreciate your focus on self-awareness and honesty about our strengths, weaknesses, and insecurities, which are undoubtedly crucial. I wonder if there's an opportunity to delve deeper into the vulnerability behind @pomomama’s question, “How to communicate that you like communication, and you like it early and often without sounding like a control freak or needy?” @pomomama seems to be aware of his/her/their own insecurity, perhaps stemming from a need to control the outcome of his/her/their words and a fear of appearing needy. While communicating preferences for directness and consistency is certainly valuable, what do you think about encouraging more open dialogue about his/her/their insecurities and needs to foster even more authentic connections? If I were @pomomama, I would say, "I feel safe when I am reassured. I like to feel connected by you and frequent and a steady flow of communication between us would be great if we can engage in it. What do you think?" By honestly expressing our feelings and needs, we can gauge whether someone is capable of empathizing and validating our feelings and having the desire to fulfill our needs. And those who can't will show their inability and reluctance to do so. IMHO, this openness allows for mutual honesty and understanding between ourselves so that we choose partners who are compatible with us.

    Learning from two failed relationships, I've come to understand this crucial lesson: the phenomenon of breadcrumbing doesn't magically disappear even after half a decade of commitment. In my sixth year of serious relationship, I found myself making excuses for my partner's behavior, rationalizing his neglect as we had already woven our lives and dreams together. But while I was pouring my heart into our relationship, he seemed more devoted to his basil plants than to nurturing our connection. Blinded by love, I tolerated the crumbs of attention he sparingly offered. Eventually, he ended our relationship, citing a lack of love. Looking back, I realize I should have had the courage to walk away a year earlier.

    Yes, you must start talking about conflict resolution as part of your screening criteria. If they can’t or won’t, they are not a fit. And you run the risk of the person leaving as soon as it happens and it will happen.

    Ok so this is all me to a tee. Or what if I’ve slept with a friend who said it wouldn’t ruin the friendship and we haven’t been able to connect since. I asked him to meet and chat a few times and each time he said he was down but they doesn’t give a time or says he’s busy all week and is clearly avoiding me.

    It’s good to see you focus on building relationships for a change. You seem to focus a lot on loving yourself which is good and break ups. Is there content on your channel folks who already love themselves but want to learn to love their partners better and vice versa? Are you projecting your own brokenness onto your audience ? Many of us are in good relationships and want to improve

  • @davidguy7335
    @davidguy7335 7 месяцев назад

    I notice on your Instagram channel and threads you seem to be hyper focusing on telling people to walk away from relationships. While that’s important for some I wonder if you consider the ramifications of being imbalanced with that content. When someone is sorting out their stuff and are vulnerable your content could send them over the edge to end a relationship that was experiencing minor problems. Maybe you should consider being more responsible. Leaving a relationship isn’t fixing a person’s issue. I agree when it comes to physical abuse or extreme emotional abuse but your threads channel is looking like the trash all relationships channel. Are you even married?
