You Don’t Have to Totally Love Yourself
Just sounds like a game... a strategy. Its gross, not partnership
This subject is so insightful, so I had to pause in the middle of the video and get some rest😅
Jillian, I find your insight having an enormous value. Thank you for approaching THIS topic.
@jillianonlove It's really disappointing how sympathetic you were towards your subscriber who's knowingly having an affair with a man who's already engaged to the mother of his child. There's very minimal compassion or empathy for the fiancee/mother being cheated on and virtually no accountability for how toxic and traumatic your subscriber's actions are for the lives of that mother, her child, and the rest of her family. The trauma will impact their entire lives, long after your subscriber moves on to her next victim. Not seriously acknowledging the devastating impact of this enables her and condones cheating. Many of of your listeners, like myself, have been cheated on and you could have shown compassion for us too. In my case, the woman who cheated with my ex knew he was in a serious relationship with me, but pursued him anyways. When I found out, it not only ended our relationship, but I miscarried and might not be able to have children in the future. There are no words for my and my mother's devastation
Fantastic video A month ago, my five-year marriage came to an end. I'm devastated that my real love chose to distance themselves from me. I've tried everything to win him back, but it's all in vain, and I can't imagine my life with anyone else. I try my hardest not to think about him, but I can't help but miss him and think about him often. I truly couldn't explain why I'm saying this. 🥺😞
Saying goodbye to someone you love is difficult; I know this from my 12-year relationship ending. But I was unable to simply let him go, so I made every effort to get him back. I eventually sought aid from a spiritual counselor, who was able to help me regain his affection.
It's interesting! How can I contact a spiritual counselor most efficiently, and how did you find one?
Father Obah Eze is a wonderful spiritual counselor who has the ability to bring back your ex.
He can assist you; he is Father Obah Eze, and he possesses immense powers.
I just sought him up online thanks to your helpful information. remarkable I just checked Father Obah Eze online, and he's really genuine. Thank you again ❤
As a forty five year old black man, I have been in a relationship for 6 years, i put so much value into this relationship. I wasn't getting anything back. I've been very patient with her drinking under the fluence and she said that she would change. She won't drink no more, but her actions didn't align with her words. So I got to the point that I am Wash my hands and I told her I was done. I don't understand why it's so hard to find a value woman out in this world that I just wanted to treat like a treasure and get old with. I know there's one out there, and I will find out one particular person that god will recommend me.

People - men and women - can rationalize any behavior. The letter writer is an affair partner involved with a cheating (nearly) married man father of one ... yet, she has the gall to call herself a person of character. lolz
Perfectly said!
I’m kind of worried I’m not capable of one
This story is identical to mine apart from neither of us are in another relationship..... The novelty, uncertainty and adventure is highly addictive for someone like me with ADHD. He's unavailable because he isn't looking for a relationship, and I'm going against my values because to me I'm engaging in low value behavior when I know I deserve more. But everytime I walk away I end up going back because the sx is amazing, and I've never experienced it before to this degree. The struggle is real... Thank you for your clarity and insights ✨🙏🏻
Good observation. The woman from the letter is actually getting what she deserves. When she is a person of higher character, she naturally won't participate in similar situations. She's right where she needs to be, to learn the lesson she needs to learn.
God.... You make this make so much sense. Everything you say is absolutely understandable from my human experience and I love that I can take your teachings and apply them to my own life where it is needed. Definitely going to be watching more of your videos...... Just wow..... Wow...
As a man with the personality of a cat, I'm not sure what to think.
High value women wouldn’t dare involve themselves in this sort of relationship. Karma will come back to haunt her when least expected.
"Chasing leads to unfulfillment" - Said it perfectly.
Omg been happly married over 30 years. After listening i am amazed we made it with just being dedicated and loyal to each other, while understanding that we both need to be inquisitive about life and each other.
Some ladies want femme freeze
I love her style
This is just sounds like an anxious/avoidant dynamic
This is so important. People approach intimacy and love through a game of strategy instead of authenticity to avoid getting hurt. I’m glad you spoke on this ❤.
If shes in close proximity to him that means shes also seeing his partner and their child regularly...kevin samuels rolling over in his grave hearing the mistress say shes high value...the market apparently disagrees if youre willing to shove yourself into whatever scraps of time this man is willing to give ...that you know is willing to step out on a 5 year relationship where a child is involved. Its all very much the opposite of high value ....and a distraction to keep neither of you in a healthy relationship where something might be expected. Block. Look away. Walk the long way. Shop near work.
Yep!!! It’s women like her….But remember Karma will always come back to her one day when she least expects it.
I love how you hold her accountable and called her out on the bs while staying real compassionate and help her understand herself better. You're great at this
🌈☀️ Great video ! I like your thoughts and advice for the person's question at the end of your video . Addressing the elephant in the room for sure . I wouldn't change a word of your advice, I would have advised them the same way. I definitely continue to share your channel and videos with people ! Have a great day Jillian ❤ ☀️
FACT ✌🏾❤️☯️
Sis you went off
I agree!
Sound like a celebration of “everything goes” attitute. I did something because it met my needs and that’s ok. Humans are full of wants and desires that go against fundamental values. We CHOOSE not to do it, because it goes against these values. People should recognize their wrong doings and not celebrate them, before they embark on a change. Very basic concept of repentance
Hey, what if I can understand that logically, but I still get owerwhelmed with anxiety and also get physicall symptoms, when I get scared that my gf is going to leave me? And I constantly feel emotionally unsafe with my partners, although they all act different and aren't always emotionally unavailable?
☀️🎶 MERRY CHRISTMAS JILLIAN Have a great weekend ❤ ⛄️🎅
Please comments if im "wrong" but these therapists usually sound like "don't have needs" and it's a bit sad. I don't want to live solo
Yep that’s one reason why my ex & I didn’t work out. I want to be close and he wants his distance.
At this point ive acepted that my needs are unrealistic and stopped dating nobody who is good enough wants me and thats okay.
Wow, this came exactly when i needed it! Never seen your videos before! Subscribing!
12:26 this is such a pinnacle thing. How does one retain autonomy while giving, serving, loving another completely? For a co-dependent (self love deficient) this is an important area of continual work and checking in on ourselves.
Wow Jillian… a few thoughts. A parent having a difficult time (parenting) doesn’t equal the child being difficult. Two truths can exist (my focus this week oddly enough). My 25yr marriage has ended essentially because of what this video describes. Me of the anxious, she of the avoidant (and so much more). I brought in volumes of baggage, yet hers was very covert and influential. It all got to a point where she hit eject on the relationship, and I understand. Oddly, I was working on childhood trauma and felt it would be the breakthrough for our marriage, instead it is the bedrock of my healing, not only childhood issues, but uncoupling the 25yrs I spent trying to become one. To be a husband, a father, a man, a friend. I’m thankful for this video where you calmly share the intermingling of great forces without casting blame. In my journey I decided I don’t want to merely be “healthy” because that’s a standard determined by a person or institution. I want to be better, because it’s a direction, a goal, a motivation for every day, every interaction. Thank you Jillian for adding your perspective and voice which helps us to be better. Shalom…
🌈☀️🎶 So many different scenarios indeed ! ☀️🐦⬛🎶 Good Morning Angel Jillian ☕️ have a great day and stay warm ❤ !!
This is such a great video, thank you! You briefly equated not being seen or understood to not being good enough and I would love for you to elaborate on that connection if you don't mind
Thank you Jillian for this episode. I' m in such a situation, where I'm in the process of letting go of MR. Charming. The situation-ship was exactly as you've described. There is q grief I'm going through of loosing all the nice things and memories we've had together. But I'm moving on.
Many times I think having a child is wonderful, but raising, guiding and seeing that child through each developmental phase particularly if s/he is Resistant, would be a Disillusioning Life for any caring loving Parent, no?
Many times I see a parent ask a small child if s/he wants to wear a coat or would you put on your raincoat ? Often children agree or strongly disagree in a Rain Storm. Managing a child's Opposition to necessary daily domestic routines is Difficult. Getting a child to go to school or read, or do homework, particularly for uneducated or working Parents is Difficult
Very few Parents are adept at understanding childhood development stages and psychology. Most Parents are educated or uneducated in The Basics. When I was a boy my parents has The Dr Spock book on a nightstand.
I'm not a parent, although I wanted to be. Is it reasonable to reflect that "A Difficult Child" may in fact be Difficult becrearing and guiding and protecting a young mind is extremely difficult to manage?
This is such a good suggestion! The process of self inquiry is long and filled with rich rewards. ✨💖✨
Great info, thank you for sharing 🙏
Damn this video just made me sm more appreciative of my relationship and made me realize I’m honestly just an anxious wreck. Therapy we go!!!!!!!!
You make incredibly helpful content
Thank you very much. I was a sensitive child, one of 7. Having emotions, particularly difficult ones, were not tolerated well. My father’s words to me at a very young age, “you’re too thin-skinned” has had a huge impact on me & my relationships. I’ve worked in therapy to understand my patterns. I see them clearly. Breaking free from then has been so challenging! It’s really tough work, changing those patterns!
Thank you, Jilian! This has been eye opening to me, i gained so many new perspectives and ideas on how to approach certain things by listening to your calm voice!! Can’t wait to read the book you’re about to release. Lots of love from Germany
