Caught a Venomous Coral Snake in the Garage!!! Catch & Release!
Well, this was quite exciting! A few days ago, my buddy Will and I were wrenching on Project Brownie, a 1991 F350 crew cab diesel dually, when I spotted a coral snake that had let himself into the garage! It was high adventure until I managed to get him secured in a pillow case. From there, we took the snake to a nearby uninhabited area and released him (or her) into the wild. Folks - venomous snakes can kill you, so please don't try this at home!!!

I think you should make it a “bulletproof Truck” re-do everything. Keep the beefy bumper, twin turbo ATS, beefy tires fix all of the body work, repair it, Danna 60, re-do the seats, and get rid of the running boards. Maybe a 4-6 inch lift? I think project brownie is gonna get interesting.

I operated the 977 for R.H.S. LEE trucking of pearl city oahu HI. From 1990 to 2006. We demolished buildings then loaded his semis with that loader. It had a Peterson demolition bucket that would hold big loads. He also had some with 4 in 1 buckets that we used to load trucks and help grade lots. The 977 can do many jobs. I'm no Cat expert, but I am a farmer and logger and have run and fixed a lot of old iron. Right there you have a pretty heavy duty hydraulic jack to get the front end free and clear a couple of feet off the ground and run some railroad ties or steel I beams right through just a bit off center front to back. Then just ease her down off the loader bucket and let her set on the beams with the track a few inches off the ground. Not ideal, but a field fix, so you can get the track apart and laid out and start unbolting the rest...worst case just clock her up and dig out under the track to get some airspace. At least dirt digs, concrete is hard to shovel out. If you get the drive off and apart, you may be able to have shafts, gears, etc built up and remachined at a machine shop cheaper than buying new at Cat dealer. or find a scrap drive and get the parts you need. But I'm just a farmer.

Why did you park it in the middle of a field instead of somewhere you could work on it.

Michael - well, there's a LOT of work that gets done on heavy equipment in a field, but your point is valid. I just moved it to my new shop. Details to follow in the next video. Scott

Saw your hat. You know the Huk was a Communist terror organization in the Philippines in the late 40s and early 50s. Made the Viet Cong look like school kids.

I'll have to mention that to Will. I spent some time in the Philippines (Manila and Zamboanga) but not familiar with Huk.
