You’re a good man Scott, that little guy just wants to live its life. I live in rural North Florida and saw a timber rattler on the side of my house and caught him with a storage container inverted over him and got the lid on and got him in the back of my truck and took him way way out into a very desolate area and let him go. Like your 8N videos too. I’m working on my old front distributor 8N that I call old Cranky. No serial number on the block and I read that these were replacement engines.
@@THEBULLETPROOFGARAGE I have actual Snake tongs from my days in animal control. That unbent paperclip you were using ... we called a control stick. Good job with it tho. A few moments of sphincter pinching though.
@@PelicanPines - Yeah, I actually had tongs hanging on the wall, but the snake hook was the first thing I grabbed. Tough to use on a small fast moving danger noodle! Scott
I too found one in my backyard door an early morning while drinking coffee in sandals in TX...I have a son and a wife...beautiful snake but I had a machete we keep close by the screen door and...chop...chop...chop and chop. I picked up what was left and placed on some wood for critters to eat...birds, other snakes, etc...kinda recycle the good (or bad) fellow. I felt bad for doing that but cannot take any future chances for my boy or wife or even myself, specially when we play in the backyard. After that incident, I bought a snake handler stick and a 5 gallon bucket from Lowe's with a lid ( I drilled small air holes on lid). Any future snakes that I don't want in my backyard I'll just catch them if I can, and my neighbor volunteered to release them in the wild.
Yeah, I'm in Texas hill country. Coral snakes aren't uncommon here. I'm glad that I was able to catch and release him because we have pets and an 11 year old daughter. Scott
Hey Randy - I think I could have picked him up before I went after him with the snake hook, but that would have been an epic fail if I had been wrong... Do you ever see coral snakes at your place? Scott
