This GPU will always deserve a spot in my heart. It is one of the best GPUs that Nvidia has ever released. I owned this exact model myself. Even after 10 years this GPU can still play a lot of games above 30 FPS, which is quite impressive. I'll be updating my test rig quite soon (so that I can test more modern hardware without any bottlenecks), but I think Ryzen 5 1600 is still enough to let th...

Testing this system in 16 semi-modern games. Skylake processors don't amaze me. When I compare these processors to 4th gen and 10th gen, there's no real point to buy these, unless the price is very low. You really need a strong motherboard and fast memory to make these CPUs worthwhile, at which point you might as well buy a 10th gen i3 and a cheap motherboard, which will not only be better, but...

GTX 1050 TI Stock vs OC in Shadow of the Tomb Raider
would lowering the res to 1360x768 help the fps in this config?
Yes. Altho, not by much. This system is well balanced and lowering the resolution basically shifts the stress over to the CPU a bit. Since the system is balanced, the CPU doesn't have that much of a headroom, therefore, you will not gain that much FPS by lowering the resolution down to 768p.
@@BenchmarkEnthusiast would upgrading to higher processor in same socket help in these terms? perhaps i5-11400f?
Yes.
Hello sir, sorry I'm translating from "French to English" I don't really know about computers in your opinion for a desktop PC with i310105 which between a 3050 and 3060 is best? Isn't the 3060 too powerful for the i3 10105?
Hi :) RTX 3060 is better, it just provides a better value. You will have a small bottleneck cause of the CPU, but it's worth it.
@BenchmarkEnthusiast thx I have an offer for a used 3060 12GB for €150. Do you think that's a good deal? especially since I live on an island in Reunion so the prices here are a little higher than in mainland France
@@_--_--_-Mamane-_--_--_ 150€ for that GPU seems like an amazing deal. I would definitely buy it.
@@BenchmarkEnthusiastthanks for your review yes I will definitely buy it he told me there is no problem it is only because he switched to an rtx 4080 in addition it will be my first powerful graphics card as I am new to pc I started with a gt1030 that I bought last year 😁
Is it save use 500W PSU for i3 gen with rtx 2060? i have same spec i3 101005f with 2060 but i really scared to use 500W PSU
Generally, a 500W PSU is more than enough for such configuration. That system will use around 220W at most. But make sure to use a decent power supply. It's all about the quality of the PSU.
Still pretty good
Dude, how does your processor stay at this clock rate when the temperature is 60 degrees? When my processor is at this temperature, it reduces the clock to the default clock
I'm not sure why your CPU acts like that. If you're comparing the performance of your CPU in the exact same game(s) as me, then the only thing that can affect those clock speeds is a BIOS setting. I use default settings.
Why the gpu usage is low in gta 5 while high in other games ?? Plz tell 🙏
Game engine issue. It's basically an old game and cannot utilize the GPU really well.
@BenchmarkEnthusiast thanks bro 🙏
If u use ryzen 5 5600x or better u can get higher fps in competitive games
Whats a suitable gpu upgrade for my rig until i squeeze it out for a year or two?. I7 6700 with coolermaster H170pro 16gigs 750w psu Ssd Current gtx 950

can you do the i7 4790 rx 580 2048sp 8gb
There's a chance that I might do it in the future, but I don't think I'm gonna do it now. The results are really similar. I suggest checking my 3770 + RX 580 2048SP video. It's mostly the same.
I have the Intel (R) Core(TM) 7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.40 GHZ and whenever I’m playing Fortnite, the cpu usage goes around 90-100 if I’ve enabled 120fps (lags when the cpu usage is high) but the cpu temp stays low and goes below 70% usage if I’m at 60fps capped. What could be the reason if I may ask. I use the rog g20cb paired with 1070gb 8gb, 32 gb ram.
Fortnite doesn't load textures when you open the game. It loads them when you enter a match. That results into high CPU usage and a bit of stutter. You can't fix it. Every first match after opening Fortnite will be like that. If you decide to upgrade something in the future, get a really modern CPU with RAM that has really good timings, that will help a lot.
@ thank you! It’s just not in the beginning, it’s every now and then. So I have a pre built pc ASUS rog g20cb, can I use most of the parts except the cpu and build a new one by just upgrading the CPU? Would you recommend it? It is almost 9 years old though
@@layzeeplays3761 I know that PC, it's a black & red thin prebuilt PC. That PC has no upgrade path. If you got it that long ago, it must've been one of the best at the time. That's an OEM computer. In short, you can't use most parts from that PC. There are a lot of things you'll need to know. Building a new PC is fine, in fact, it's what I recommend doing anyway, but make sure you know what you're doing. Be ready if things go wrong. Here is my parts recommendation: CPU: - i5 12400F (budget) DDR4 or DDR5 - Ryzen 7 5700X3D (midrange) DDR4 only - Ryzen 7 7800X3D (high end) DDR5 only GPU: you can keep that GTX 1070. Make sure to clean it and change thermal paste on it if u can. If you wanna get something better, I recommend any RTX 40 series GPU, whichever one the budget allows you to get. You can decide the rest.
@ yeah, that’s the pc. I’ll be building a new one with Ryzen 7 7800x3d soon. Thank you for the help again sir, very much appreciated! :)

Will rtx 3050 8gb bottleneck i3 10100f? My mobo is b560m chipset.
RTX 3050 8GB is a perfect pair for i3-10100F.
Sem gravar voce ganha quanto de fps a mais ?
Just buy i5 1200f and all thing remains same minimum 10-15 fps boost in every game
bro please reply, can i play God of war Ragnarok on medium to high settings with rx 580 8gb i7 4770 , 16gb ram , how much fps there would be?
I'm not sure. I don't own GoW Ragnarok, it is not available in my country so there's no way for me to test it currently. But it is a really well optimized game and my guess is that you'll be able to run it on that hardware. Not sure on what settings tho, or how much FPS you'd be getting.
Pci 2.0 o 3.0?
I have the same specs on my pc but my graphics cant get like yours without buffering on Apex Legends, do you know why?
There can be million reasons, I can't possibly guess. All these benchmarks were done on freshly built systems that have been tuned accordingly.
Hello friend, good video, a query, how is this configuration to see social networks, youtube and basic office automation such as word, excel and finally how many fps would give in league of legends?
This PC is extremely overpowered for everything that you just mentioned. You don't need a GPU at all for any of it. Integrated graphics will be enough. However, the PC in this video will give you 200 FPS in League of Legends and it will be extremely overpowered for office work and general computing.
@@BenchmarkEnthusiast thank you very much friend
can you confirm me all this game is just 2 tb storage... ??
it's around 2.5TB
@BenchmarkEnthusiast 2.5 tb for 36 games , i think i dont know which one to play if i have all this 36 games...😭😭 tq brohter...
Is this better than i7 3770 with rx 580 8gb?
It's not. The only reason why I'd favor this build over i7 3770 + RX 580 is the GPU. GTX 1650 has stable drivers from Nvidia and is still receiving updates. RX 580 is not receiving updates does not have completely stable drivers.
24:24 This is my favorite part... thanks alot ❤❤
ryzen 1600 and 200fps in VALORANT? HOW??????!
Valorant is extremely easy to run. It's totally normal.
@@BenchmarkEnthusiast nope.. i have 1600af / 5500 and 1600af cant make 200fps most times...
i have the same specs but 32 g of ddr4 ram think it can run 165fps easily on fortnite?
Not easily. Fortnite is extremely demanding on the CPU and it really likes high RAM speed with tight timings. You will have 150-200 FPS on Performance Mode, but there will be frequent small stutters if your RAM frequency is 2133 and the timings of that RAM are bad. If you're on a Z series motherboard and you have 3200MHz CL16 RAM, it'll be good. Anything weaker than that will give you mediocre at best results.
@ even if i turn up the base clock to 4.0 on the cpu? Also thank you
@@BraydonUrmom It will help, but not by a lot. What I mentioned will take more priority before you do what you said. Also, don't change the base clock, don't touch it at all. When you overclock, always set a static frequency of the CPU (so that it always stays at the frequency) and don't set the voltage on Auto if you overclock, set manual voltage. Overclocking takes a bit of skill. I recommend not touching it.
@ okay thank you so much bro
Is the cpu bottlenecking the gpu?
Yea it does actually
No. There is not a single game where CPU is the bottleneck, not even the CPU-heavy games. You can see it by looking at the CPU & GPU usage. There are exceptions, however. Some games' (like GTA 5, CS2, Valorant, Fortnite (Performance Mode) engines are not able to utilize the hardware. In those cases, you will have a CPU bottleneck even if you use a 2-3 times more powerful CPU.
@@BenchmarkEnthusiast what about using this to save money to upgrade to 5700x3d or 5800x3d?
@@imamangoo8632 both of those CPUs are extremely powerful. They can handle RTX 3060 without a problem. They can even handle RTX 4070 or better.
God job, tanks for the video
This setup on CS2 should perform very bad right?
I've tested this kind of PC in CS2. That game hates RX 580's or any other similar AMD GPUs from that generation. i7 3770 is also too weak for the game, it doesn't have AVX2. i7 4770 and other 4th gen i7 CPUs have AVX2 and they run really well. 4th gen i7 is the minimum I recommend for CS2. Even GTX 750 TI will perform better. The game mainly cares about the CPU.
Is it true that there will be a bottleneck for the RTX 3050 if paired with the i3 10105f, because the GPU is PCIE 4.0 while the CPU and motherboard are PCIE 3.0?
No, it'll be fine. GPUs with 8 or 16 PCIe lanes are fine to run on PCIe 3.0 instead of 4.0. However, if a GPU has 4 lanes only (like RX 6500 XT), it'll run terribly on PCIe 3.0 because 4 lanes on PCIe 4.0 are far stronger than 3.0 ones. Look at it like this: PCIe 4.0 x16 is same as 3.0 x16, don't worry about this. You won't lose any performance (less than 1% or nothing at all). PCIe 4.0 x8 is really close to 3.0 x8 performance, but I still wouldn't go out of my way to pay extra for PCIe 4.0 motherboard and CPU. And for GPUs with 4 lanes only, it is necessary for them to run on PCIe 4.0. 4x PCIe 3.0 will not be able to transfer the data well enough.
@BenchmarkEnthusiast thank you for such a detailed answer 🍻

Ryzen 5 5500 & RTX 3060 system can play CoD MW 3 at 1080p resolution at 100-140 FPS on Medium settings (or lower), it just depends on what's happening in the game.
@BenchmarkEnthusiast oke ty for the answer
I got an Optiplex 9020 with i7 4770, RX 580 4 GB, 32 GB of RAM, the OEM Motherboard, and the same PSU. I can play warframe at high/ludicrous with low 2x multisampling, @1080p 60fps most of the time, some dips to 55-50 and rare dips to 45-50 on specific situations. My monitor is only 60hz, but I see these builds (with other mobos) delivering more performance than my set up. I dont have the GPU overclocked, would it be the reason? or theres some fine tuning I need to do? please help.
Diagnosing your computer is difficult since I'm not there to check it in person. But here are the things that I think could be the cause: - Drivers (driver support is stopped for that GPU, so stability isn't guaranteed) - Your GPU might be 2048SP (which is a Chinese version with less performance) - Other minor issues that we're not aware of. My GPU in this video is not overclocked. I don't think overclocking your GPU will change anything. In terms of BIOS tuning, you don't have to do anything. It's most likely one of the things I mentioned above.
@@BenchmarkEnthusiast your gpu mem speed is 2000mhz mine is 1750mhz But I think your version has that 2000mhz stock speed. I disabled Vsync yesterday and was getting a wide range of FPS at high presets. 80-110, and some highs of 130+ and some dips of 50-60. I don't know if my internet conection has something to do with it. I need to test out other games to see what I get. How can I know for sure my gpu is the chinese version?
@@edgarrg1899 It will say on its sticker at the back. Or you can download GPU-Z and look at its name. 2048SP is the weaker Chinese version. But none of them have 1750MHz Memory speed. Internet speed has nothing to do with it.
Will an i3 10100F bottleneck an RTX 3060?
In some games, yes. i3 10100F + RTX 3060 (12GB) is a system for 1440p gaming, or 1080p High-Ultra graphics. If you play CPU-heavy games like Cyberpunk, Red Dead Redemption 2, Counter-Strike 2 etc, you'll have a big CPU bottleneck. Ideally, you want a i3-12100F or i5-10400F with RTX 3060 to not have a bottleneck at all.
Moch
Did you overclock?
No.
You dont have affiliated purchase links?
I don't. It's something that I'm planning on looking into once the channel grows a bit more (1k+ subs). For now, no.
Hi great video will this play Dayz frostline
I haven't tested DayZ at all, so I'm not sure. According to requirements, it should. But my overall opinion is that 3rd gen i7 is getting a bit too old and I'd recommend a 4th gen i7 at the very least nowadays.

The motherboard doesn't matter. All motherboards that support 4th gen intel CPUs are fine. As for the case, I recommend a budget ATX case. Make sure you have at least 3 intake fans and 1 exhaust in the back, that is the standard. And make sure that the front of the case isn't blocked and the fans are able to get the air from the front side.
@@BenchmarkEnthusiast thank you so much brother ❤️
I got pc with this speca in 2024
This is my exact pc specs😂
Do you get exact same fps ?
i have the 6700k and a 1070 i got in a rig on fb for 80 bucks... not the best by any means but for that price it's playing most of my steam library at higher settings at 80+ fps... I get 140 in cod, over 200 in seige, and 180ish in xdefiant. Ill eventually get another am4 mobo to get my 5700g back going, but this thing is actually super capable for the meantime, especially since im runnin 1920X1200p! great video btw!
The 1070 goes for over 100 by its self where I live. You got a good deal 😂
@@matthewhelm5480 dang thats rough bro, here in atl their used on fb for around 50-60. but even at that price i got a great deal on this rig
😂😂😂 yes use a pickaxe to break crafting table and not the wood axe
Dude, I read all the comments and I can't get the same fps as you in any game. Are you sure you didn't make any other settings?
I don't make changes. Check the following things and compare them to mine: - Windows 10 64-bit. Bloatware and unnecessary apps are uninstalled and turned off. - BIOS: XMP/DOCP Enabled. Everything else is default. - Memory timings: 3200MHz CL16-18-18-38 - CPU Frequency: My Ryzen 5 5500 is running at 4250MHz, check yours. If your motherboard is weak or ur cooler can't cool it well enough, it'll run at a lower frequency. I have an extremely basic B450 motherboard. - GPU Frequency: Mine is running at a very low frequency. Literally almost every other RTX 3060 12GB is more powerful than mine. - If you're running too many other apps, like Discord, any web browser, Spotify or anything like that, those will cause you to get slightly less FPS. Whatever you see in my results is probably the most performance you'll ever see. I'm a technician/PC builder and I took care of every small detail to make everything run perfect. If you've been using ur PC for a while, the performance will be less. PCs slow down over-time.
were you playing cyberpunk 2077 on version 2.0?
I don't remember. I played on whatever was the most recent version of the game at the time. If you're asking about the Phantom Liberty DLC, then I don't have it.
I have i7 4790 and 1660, and I'm not glad of it. 1150 is already old socket in 2024. Now I'm saving money for 1700, a mid-segment board and, for starters, i3 12100f. I think the increase will be significant!
I have 4770k/1660 super/16GB and GPU at some games is bottlenecking CPU… I will upgrade GPU cause CPU is holding pretty well for now at 1080p
GTX 1070 is a battleneck for that Intel. You can easly use 6700 with 4060/4070. But forget about 3k and 4k.
12:27 game

@@BenchmarkEnthusiast no brpo online game i think
i have i5 4690 does 4770s worth to upgrade to? it wouldn't cost more than actual 4770 though but i care about power efficiency
Any 4th gen i7 will be a good upgrade, but try to get i7-4790 or 4770 specifically. The "S" versions are slightly weaker and run cooler. You should only prioritize the S versions if you have a stock cooler and not planning on upgrading it.
@@BenchmarkEnthusiast thanks dude
You can get a xeon. E3-1230, 31, 40, 41 etc.. for way cheaper
*Please make a video using this processor and this vga card and try running black myth wukong*
I would love to, but I can't. I can almost never afford games without a huge discount. Also, I don't own this hardware anymore. These are the PCs that I build for customers. I test them and then sell it to the client that ordered it.
@@BenchmarkEnthusiast then whatsapp your custumet to tested it with Blackmyhth wukong 🤭
Hey, do you know if intel core i3 10105F and rtx 3060 with 32 Gb will run good?
That's a really wide question. Every single person has their own definition of what "will it run good" is. Here's my answer: It is a good budget build for 1440p gaming. That build is focused on running games on high settings and high resolution. It is not suited for high FPS gaming in shooters, such as CS2 or Valorant. It is more suited for Cyberpunk, Wukong, Hogwarts Legacy, Forza Horizon 5 etc. If your focus is to have high FPS in shooters, get a much better CPU, like an i7 for example and get a weaker GPU, like RTX 2060 or something.
