Nah, there's a lot of things wrong here: - You have to "undervolt", not "underclock". There are guides on the internet on how to do so. - i7-3770 runs cooler than i7-2600. Older or weaker does not mean cooler, there are other factors. - If you're talking about intel's stock thermal paste, it's good enough. If you haven't changed thermal paste for more than 5 years, it could be dried out. (so you'll need to remove the cooler, clean thermal paste & the cooler itself, apply new thermal paste onto the CPU and attach the cooler back) - Take a look at the airflow of your computer. If there are no case fans, nothing will bring in fresh air, so there's a chance that your system is overheating cause of the airflow, not just your cooler. An LGA 115X intel stock cooler can cool an i7-3770 well enough. If by "overheat" you mean 85c or higher, then sure, there's an issue. These older CPUs can run more comfortably at 80-90 degrees. But if the temperature is not reaching 80-85 degrees, you don't have to do anything at all.
@@BenchmarkEnthusiast I mean, to change the CPU's internal paste I'd need to delid, which I rather to not do because of the risk of damaging the CPU. And what's the difference between underclock and undervolt? If I use my i7-3770 at full load it heats over 95ºC

I would like to buy this PC, but I'm not an expert, does it still fall into the good category in terms of bootleneck? ( I want to play with: Valorant, CSGO, GTA5, Dying Light ) what do you think, is it a good choice?
I would highly recommend buying a computer with a better CPU. All those games you mentioned are CPU-heavy games. If you have a chance, get at least i7-4770 CPU, or ideally a i3-10100F (recommended). The GPU is fine. That said, Valorant, CS:GO are extremely easy to run (CPU-heavy). GTA5 is somewhere in the middle (balanced). Dying Light is a really demanding game tho, both the CPU and the GPU will struggle to run it, which is why I recommend i3-10100F. If you have a strong modern CPU, this will be fine, otherwise it might struggle on older CPUs, but you can still run this on i7-4770. i7-2600, i7-3770 and similar ones are too weak nowadays. 4th gen i7 is the minimum you should use. i3-10100F is still recommended, it also prepares you for future upgrades.
@@BenchmarkEnthusiast Thanks for the answer, but I don't have much choice, becuase I can't spend a lot of money on it, but in the future I will definitely replace it with a more modern cpu. That's understandable. Assuming everything is fine will all the hardware that you have, the GPU is too powerful and is basically making the CPU work too hard. It's a bottleneck at its finest. When the GPU is stronger than the CPU, a bottleneck such as this will cause stutters here and there. You just need a stronger CPU. I can only suggest a modern CPU so that you see a significant different.
It's because cpu is under stress, like 100% load, which causes frame spikes, also known as stutter, in more demanding scenes. Try using Vsync or limiting your fps to you screen res, which should be 60hz. This will leave some breathing room for your cpu and reduce stutter.
i have the same spec like the vidio, but why my gpu cant reach 99% its always beetwen 40-65% i already try to undervolt or limit the power it doesn't work. only the cpu that have 99% power. is there any solution guys? is it because of my motheboard that only have Pcie 2.0? i play with ram ddr3 1333mhz 2x8
1333MHz is the limit of the RAM frequency on 2nd gen processors, it's the same as in the video (doesn't matter if the RAM sticks themselves can reach higher frequency). Both H61 motherboard and 2nd gen CPUs have PCIe 2.0, so it's the same as well. You either have a vsync on (it limits the FPS to 60 or more), or you're playing a game that is not able to use the GPU at its fullest, or you have a CPU bottleneck cause games nowadays want stronger CPUs.
@@beckman-k5i I can't give you a clear answer. We're not sure what exactly is the cause of your issue. I'm basically giving you my theory based on my experience (which can be wrong). I advise figuring out what is the actual cause of your problem before trying to change anything.
