- Finally got my hands on one of the best RX 580 models. It's a really beautiful GPU, especially when you pair it with a black case with red LED fans. I had to install VulkanRT to be able to play Doom Eternal, without it this GPU did not recognize Vulkan. Anyway, hope you enjoy the benchmarks, cause I sure enjoyed testing this PC in these games. The GPU does not cost a lot and it delivered quite good performance, all things considered. It did have an extremely low FPS in Halo Infinite, but I think it's mostly because of the drivers or something, kinda wanted to test that game too.

Thanks for the video bro, i just upgraded to this setup from an i5-4460 and a gtx 750 ti, for a $190

Whats about future upgrades? Can u play AAA TITLES WITH IT?
@@gitarthapratimthakuria6726 it's my first pc I am gonna upgrade it in next Christmas so yes just chill but for nowadays games it's just pretty mid.
With Halo infinite it's definitely the drivers. Amds drivers on older cards are notorious for their poor performance but when you use the 3rd party drivers, I forget the name, it fixes it up pretty good. There's a couple of newer games that totally flop with amds older cards but run perfect with Ninez. That's the name lol!
Nimez is the Name, it definitely gave my older RX 470 4GB a slight boost, at least in 3DMark 😂
Haven't tested it much, but it didn't do much with the RX 480 4GB, that i've got with a broken fan (replaced it with one from a dead graphics-card) for almost nothing. At least i haven't seen any difference in the games, that i've tested. The same was with a RX 580 8GB, that i've tested with original and NimeZ drivers, i've seen almost no improvements (again only slightly better results in 3DMark). Maybe, the older R9 2xx & 3xx and the older HD 7xxx series will see some benefits.
I will try it out again, with some newer titles on the rx 470 & 480, that i still have.
what is good cpu in ddr 3 boards for rx 580?
hi
what's good vpu for rx 580 ddr3 boards
Thanks for the vid. Gonna upgrade to this card from my current GT 730.
This is insane for the price nowdays
I'm very suprised how well it plays
The fact that the i7 4770 is more powerful than the i5 7th gen
Im getting the rx 590 with the i7 4770 so cant wait to see how it performs
Nice I paired mine with the 1070 ti it does very good
Hey bro, how did you keep your temp at 60 degrees celcius at those clock speeds? Mine ramps up to 80 degrees c when I bump the clock speeds to 1300mhz, and power to +40 via msi afterburner. Did u replace the thermal paste? Thanks in advance!
The GPU? It games at 70-72 degrees when it's actually being fully used. I always clean everything. I don't change pads, but I often change thermal paste if temps aren't great. This one was just cleaned. The case that this PC was built in has a really great airflow, multiple fans to move the air around, that matters a lot in fact. If you have the Red Devil model as well, then 80 degrees is really bad, it's a really powerful and cool model, it doesn't get up to 80 degrees under normal conditions. Yours is either a different model, needs cleaning, or u have bad or no airflow in your case. I'm running this GPU in silent mode, the fans aren't even being fully utilized for best temps, this is like 40-45% fan speed temps at 70-72 degrees, which is normal for these models.

Can u please tell me the driver version. i have the same specs as u but keep's stuttering and i think is driver isued !
It's the latest available driver on the AMD website/software to this date (it hasn't changed since the video was recorded).
It's difficult for me to explain why you're experiencing stuttering tho. I have all of my computers and programs perfectly utilized with fresh windows 10 installs. All of the drives are brand new as well. All of the bloatware/adware is removed.
While I have no specific info about your computer, I can't diagnose the cause of your issue. But you will be better off asking for assistance on reddit or any other popular platform where people can give you multiple suggestions and help you solve your issue. It can honestly be a lot of small things that are causing the stuttering, so you will have to find it out with trial and error.
that mean you have bad graphic (mining gpu) so bought a new one
whats best cpu for rx580 and a ddr3 cpu?? is 4790 is good? in other videos i saw people have so low fps with 4790 and rx580 and they get deadly bottleneck
First you need to confirm that the i7 4790 is compatible with your motherboard. If it is, it's an amazing CPU to have. It can handle a much better GPU than RX 580. If you have or wanting to get an RX 580, the i7 4790 will handle it without a problem. There's no bottleneck there.
@@BenchmarkEnthusiast i have rx 580 xfx ... thanks alot...then i don't need to get 11th motherboards yet.. i hope I'll not get bottleneck with 4790..
May I know your motherboard? I'm about to buy this GPU and I also have the same CPU, but I'm not sure if my motherboard can handle it. I have MS 7852
Asus B85M-F
can you write the name off the game the entire time so its easier to see what games run
I will consider this suggestion. I'm working on improving the videos.
I have a intel core i3 4170 and rx580 8gb and i think its bottlenecking. Im planning to upgrade my cpu to maximize the performance of my gpu, Im plannig to get the i3 9100f or i5 6500. what do you think? what other cpu would you recommend? Thanks!
I'll give you a few options, starting from most expensive to least expensive (obviously most expensive is the best choice if ur budget allows it):
i3-12100F
i3-10100F
i7-4770
There are many other options, but I think this is the most profitable for people right now. I'd personally go for i3-10100F since motherboards aren't too expensive for those CPUs.
@@BenchmarkEnthusiast i think i will go for the i3 10100f, thank youu!!
go for i5-10400f, best bang for buck.
hey, what do you think about i7 4770 vs i7 4790? it that worth if i buy 4790? or just buy 4770
There's such a small difference between them that it really doesn't matter. I wouldn't pay extra for the 4790, but if I had a choice, obviously I'd choose the better one.
Should i get this i7 4770 + rx 580 8gb +16gb of ram or Xeon e5 2689 2.6ghz + rx 580 8gb and 32gbs ECC ram? Kinda lost here 😢 planning to play mostly DotA2 and Valorant maybe some Warzone too. Thanks
All of those games want really powerful CPU. GPU is not important in this case. RX 580's have no support for newer drivers anymore, so I advise against RX 580.
My recommendation is i3 10100F or 12100F. In terms of GPU, I recommend GTX 1650, 1070, or RTX 2060 if the budget allows you to. But I really wanna recommend a modern CPU. Both of these i3's are much more powerful than i7 4770 and you will notice a difference. Even i3-12100F + GTX 1050 TI will give you better performance in Valorant & Dota 2. CoD will be fine. You will always be able to play on low settings. This game requires a lot of GPU power if you wanna play this on high settings, so don't prioritize this and don't buy a strong GPU only because of this, focus on CPU.
@@BenchmarkEnthusiast ok thank you so much for your advice! Subbed aswell. 😁
I have an old 1050ti and im thinking about pairing it with this processor, is it a good idea?
Yes. Both the CPU and the GPU will comfortably work together.
now make it angrier
bro please tell me
i7-3770 and rx 590 8gb will it bottleneck?
please reply
The CPU is too weak, it will bottleneck the GPU. It will work fine, but you'll have a 20-30% performance bottleneck on the GPU. In some games it will be fine once everything loads, but you'll feel the performance loss. The recommended CPU for RX 590 is either i3-10100F or i7-4790 (this one will be cheaper option).
Brother if I have a i5 4790 CPU will the performance be the same as shown in the video if I pair it with an Rx 580 GPU?
If you have an i5, it should be "i5 4590", not i5 4790. If you do have an i5 4590, then the CPU will be too weak and it will bottleneck the GPU, so you will need to upgrade to an i7 (4770 or 4790) to get similar performance.
@@BenchmarkEnthusiast thank you
Hyperthreading on or off?
And also is this cpu a good pair with rx 590
Hyperthreading is not something people generally turn off, there's no point in disabling CPU's threads or cores on standard CPUs. The CPUs with E-cores and P-cores and X3D CPUs are exceptions.
This CPU will do alright with a RX 590. It's the bare minimum you should pair with a RX 590.
@@BenchmarkEnthusiast it is possible to enable or disable hyperthreading from bios
@@Shahzad12357 I kinda wrote it really wrong. I'll edit my comment to write what I actually wanted to say. Of course you're right, you can enable/disable it from there.
If i pair a i7-4790s with a rx580 8gb will I get a bottleneck? I have a i5-2400 and my bottleneck is bad
No, 4790S can handle RX 580 really well.
Yo, do you know if this build will run NIER Automata and Formula 1 2023 smoothly?
Yes. It will run both games really well. Neither of them are that demanding.
Hi will a i7-4770,16 gb ram and a rx580 4gb be able to run cs2 (low settings)?
It will run it on the highest settings at 60 or more FPS :)
can i have your amd config my rx580 temp touch 89c
Man I really wanted to see cyberpunk 😢 could you take a look and tell me the average fps?
Aww, shame that I didn't have that game at the time. I sold this PC with this GPU a long time ago. I will test this GPU again sometime soon (in 1-4 weeks) and I'll show the benchmarks.
@@BenchmarkEnthusiast yeah no problem, i think it's nice to have that game in all benchmarks just because of the fact how intensive it is, gives you a nice idea of how it'll perform in other games
How many watts of power supply should be used with them?
A reliable 500W PSU is more than enough. But make sure to check the 12V rail, it must have at least 36A on it, which means that it should at least provide around 450W.
i got 16gb 3200mhz ram and a ryzen 5 3400g only. can i pair this rx 580 with it? will it perform good?
You can. That CPU is quite strong and can even handle a lot better GPU, like GTX 1080, RTX 2060S or RX 5600. But RX 580 will be a good pair. Computer has a lot better time at handling things when the CPU is the dominant piece.
bro i got i7-4790 with 4gb rx 580 but why i got a low fps in my dota 2? i feel like its not compatible or like bottleneck my cpu?
I can't give you a diagnose like this, but I can tell you what could possibly be causing you to have low FPS.
High temperature, a virus, bloatware, higher resolution, vsync, or something else. There's no bottleneck.
Maybe you dont have enough ram
Hi master.
i7 4770 + RX 580 will it bottleneck?

There will be no bottleneck.
need suggestion: i7 4770 with gtx 1660 super 6gb nice option for 1080p gaming?can i7 4770 handle 1660 super ur reply will be very helpfull❤️❤️
i7 4770 is a really powerful CPU. It will handle the GTX 1660 Super. iirc all 1660 Supers are GDDR6 which work better with modern CPUs like 10th gen i3 or i5. If you don't have the CPU yet, I would advise 10th gen, but if you can't get anything better than i7 4770, it will be enough. Anything stronger than 1660 Super will get bottlenecked by i7 4770.
@@BenchmarkEnthusiast thankyou brother in future i will upgrade to i3 10 gen inshAllah thanks for ur response❤️
Si alguien pudiera decirme en cuanto porciento le gana esta a la rx6400 se lo agradecería mucho gracias
Should i go with r5 3600 & rx 580 or i7 4790k & rx 580 ?
R5 3600 is many times better than i7 4790K. 100% go with ryzen.
Iam gonna get rx 590 8gb blue one and the Xeon e3 1231 v3 will they bottleneck??
There shouldn't be a bottleneck. I would say that it'll be just fine. The only exceptions that you might face could be really CPU-heavy games on low graphics, like CS2, Valorant, etc. Lower graphics you choose, the more CPU the computer will use. Games like these are CPU heavy anyway, so playing on lower graphics (which is common for these games) will increase CPU usage even more. But generally, RX 590 and Xeon E3 1231 v3 are a good match.
Brother i have a 1660 super will it work good with this cpu?
There will be no bottlenecks, it'll be fine. However, the GPU is very modern GDDR6 model, the CPU is old. In modern games you might encounter slight stutters cause of the CPU. I'd recommend i3-10100F or better, not because that i7-4770 is weak, but it's better to pair modern GPU with modern CPU.
No way the fps is high on high settings imagine low 😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳

Can i use ddr4 ram?
Check your motherboard's manual online to see what kind of RAM it's compatible with.
Bro please tell me 🙏
I7 4770 +rx 590 will it bottleneck ❤
It won't. RX 590 is extremely close to RX 580 in terms of performance.
What are the fps I can get if I pair this cpu with rx 590?
Please man I need to know
You'll get slightly higher FPS. The difference between RX 580 and RX 590 is really small. This CPU won't be able to fully let RX 590 show you its full performance. But if the price of that RX 590 is way higher than RX 580, then it's not worth it cause the performance is nearly identical.
@@BenchmarkEnthusiast Hey man thanks, I wanted to ask one more thing,
Is the fps difference really high if i pair 2048sp version of the card with this cpu?
@@Beefcheeseburger21 The difference is really high. 2048SP RX 580 is much weaker than the standard RX 580. It's basically a RX 570.

@@BenchmarkEnthusiastI bought a pc with a rx 580 and a i7 4770 and 16g of ddr3 ram will it bottleneck in some games like Fortnite, etc.

500w PS enough?
It depends. There are various fake PSUs that say that they're 500W units, but they are actually able to provide only 180, or even less in some cases.
Look at the 12V rail and below it (or sometimes next to it) should be amperage number. Multiply the "A" to "V" number and you'll get the amount wattage the PSU is able to provide.
After that you just have to pay attention to the PCIe power cable. Good PSUs have multiple 'separate' cables. The ones that have 1 cable that splits into 2, that doesn't always provide 300W, each 6+2 is 150W. a single 6pin is 75W. So a lot of the times the cable splits into 2 cause some GPUs used to need 2x6pin power instead a single 8pin, which is the same amount of wattage. 2x6pin = 8pin.
Some low quality PSUs only have a single 8pin (8=6+2. 8pin always is 6+2, u can always detach/separate the 6+2pins from each other).
But to answer your question. Yes. A legit 500W PSU, or even a 450W PSU like the one I had last month, Asus TuF Gaming 450B. That was one of the best PSUs I had. It was 450W Bronze 80+ Certified. Had quality cables, looked amazing and wasn't making any noise at all, it was also staying very cool, wasn't getting hot. It was perfect. That PSU can handle this GPU. This 600W Xilence one tho, it only has a single 8pin PCIe power. This GPU needs 8+6pin power, so that PSU couldn't even turn this GPU on, let alone provide power for it. So there's your difference. There is a lot to know about power supplies.
if its a expensive or a brand yes but if is a cheap shit box no bro 550 is minimum
Look up 'psu tier list' if you can't find your PSU on that list it's most likely not that high quality, and if it's on the list and not marked as low quality the 500w should be more than enough.
