Fishing all day for that dream fish | Expedition #2 | Live Baiting | Rock Fishing NSW, Australia
We had a great trip away targeting Longtail Tuna and big Kingfish with mates. We casted various stickbaits, poppers and jigs all day but the clear winner that day was live bait, with numerous big Bonito, Salmon, Mac Tuna and decent size Kings caught. 🎣
Although we didn’t get the targeted species, we did witness them breaching/busting up as they chased the bait balls close to the shallows! 🔥🤙🏽

    • @HaiFishing
      @HaiFishing 18 дней назад

      @@ben9219 Best way to do it is just pack as light as possible and go on hikes on coastal trails. Many spots have been fished by people before but you’ll only find the way down by exploring those coastal trails on foot. That’s the best way to find paths that people take to get down to the ledges. Look for deep pockets or deep drop offs near the ledges you’re thinking of fishing. Often fish hunt around those deep drop offs waiting for prey to swim past or out of the shallows. Goodluck!

Your best bet is to save on fuel and fish your closest ledge or beach using bait. Bait is the best for Winter when the fish are too lethargic to chase lures or jigs. Hey bro, the Sonio 93M is more suitable if you’re planning to do more stickbaiting and soft plastic fishing. The Sonio 100M is more suitable for shore jigging. So, I would choose based on what type of fishing you’re planning to do more of. But both rods can do all of the above, it just comes down to what you do more with the rod. For me I stickbait a lot more than I jig so I prefer the 93M
