What clip and size do you use to attach your lures to the line?

    • @HaiFishing

I use a Maria Fighters snap clip size 110lb test attached to a Decoy GP ring size 4. I find it’s light enough to not affect the movement of the lure with enough range of motion to give the lure as much action as possible. Give it a go and let me know how it feels! Thanks for watching!

When tying the lure, do you attach leader>clip>lure? Or can you do leader straight to lure?

I use a Maria Fighters snap clip size 110lb test attached to a Decoy GP ring size 4 which is attached to the leader line. The snap clip connects to the lure. I find it’s light enough to not affect the movement of the lure but also has enough range of motion to give the lure as much action as possible. Give it a go and let me know how it feels! Thanks for watching!

@HaiFishing cheers man! Been watching your vids, keep up the great work! . I'm a bait fisho, trying to get into lure fishing but haven't had much luck lol I've so far lost a lot of lures and caught hardly any fish. Is it normal to lose lures quite easy? It's getting quite expensive lol.

@@samix4396 Yeah it’s quite normal when you’re first starting our lure fishing to lose some lures, I’ve lost quite a few in my time haha. If you’re lucky enough sometimes you snag other people’s missing lures and get a free one back from the sea, but that’s rare haha.
The more you try and go lure fishing the better you’ll get at avoiding losing lures. You’ll start losing less and less with experience and eventually lose a lure maybe once out of 10 or 20 sessions, but then at least you know you got good use out of the lure before you lost it! Try using the least expensive lures to get use to the different types of lure fishing techniques and styles of fishing before you buy the more expensive lures. Once you start losing less lures and get more experience and confidence, then treat yourself to those high-end lures. Goodluck!
