Good stuff mate, spot x 2 producing :)
Thanks mate! Appreciate you watching! Spot X has been good but still no legal Kingies yet this season - makes me regret releasing so many legal ones last year 😂
Hey mate, loved watching your videos on rock fishing. Planning on starting as well with some mates, have the med-heavy gear already, just need to know some lures to invest in. Do you know any good ones in BCF?
Hey, appreciate you watching my videos! I would suggest getting some Palms jigs in the 40g and 60g. The Palms Slow Blatt wide is my favourite to use. I recommend going to Iso Fishing Lifestyle store in Croydon or online and checking some of their jigs out. I recently went on the Australian Lure Fishing Podcast where I go in-depth on some of the lures I use for rock fishing for Pelagic species. Give it a listen if you some time!

@@HaiFishing wow huge info here and thanks for this quick response as well mate, I'm trully learning new things from your vids, keep doing them. We honestly get stuck on using pillies and had no luck at all. So I'm gonna try lures on Avoca and try your techniques.
@@HaiFishing also, what lures should i invest in first from ISO fishing lifestyle? Just to start with surface and deep lures
@@CuteBacon21 My favourite shore jigging and shore casting lures right now are: for topwater Palms Rush Dive 140mm, for jigging Palms Slow Blatt Wide in the 40g and 60g (use heavier jigs for deeper water), Palms Jigaro Superslide 60g and 80g, and for sinking stickbait (for when your shoulders and arms are too tired from jigging) Oceans Legacy Keeling 105mm Whitebait colour 45g. Definitely more videos to come, hope you stay tuned!
@@HaiFishing awesome thanks, this vid is timing as well since we're going in the evening of this Friday. I'll try the metalmaru you used in this vid in 16 gozebra colour.
Hey brother was wondering what apps you use to keep track of swells and tides and it all ?
Hey bro, I use an app called ‘Fishing Points’, it has all the swell, waves, weather, tides info. If you pay for the subscription you can even access nautical maps that show the depth of the water, great for scouting out fishing locations!
How many gram is ur stick bait?
From memory, it’s the Shimano Flash Boost OCEA 140F 57g floating stickbait
Do u have any tips on selecting jig colour for gore jigging?
I recommend matching the hatch! Have a look at what bait fish is in the water when you’re fishing and select the colour that matches the bait fish
man ngl was hoping the flash boost was gonna get something, birds wanted it hard 😂
Where exactly is the location?
Kurnell, south headland of Botany Bay.
Elusive?
You disagree they’re ‘difficult to find, catch, or achieve’? (literal meaning of ‘elusive’)
@@HaiFishing I strongly disagree & im sure you will too in the coming months
@@4pines943 Part of what makes them elusive is how hard they fight and how good they are at busting you off. They’re also very picky when it comes to catching them with lures. No one lure will work on them all the time. They also are time of day sensitive, higher chance of catching them in the mornings etc. Most of the time when fishing Landbased for them you have to travel to rock ledges that can be dangerous when the conditions, swell, waves, weather aren’t safe. Sure, if you have a boat it’s easy to go offshore and drop some jigs on top of them once you’ve found them with a fish finder. But for most fisherman who do not have a boat and can only catch them from Landbased it is hard work! Especially if you’re from Sydney where they are over fished and heavily targeted by both recreational and commercial fishermen. So I disagree with you, I definitely consider them ‘elusive’. Come Autumn and Winter it will be even harder to catch them in Sydney.
Definitely not elusive. I’d say a Jew better fits that category
