Personally I think the reason why twilight and the others didnt try to reason with her is because 1. cozy glow knew how friendship worked and how it could benefit others but instead she chose to try and use it for her own gain. Trying to teach her the meaning of friendship would be pointless. 2. she was also extremely manipulative, she tried playing innocent & trustworthy to get what she wanted. Not only this but she knew wayyy to much and she was penpals with tyrek, a villain who is so evil that he couldn't be reformed even if everyone tried. The difference between cozy glow and starlight is that cozy glow essentially wanted to be evil, just do it. No sad backstory & no valid reason aside from the fact that she wanted power. Starlight on the other hand wanted power BECAUSE she wanted a perfect world where everyone was buddy buddy with eachother and could never abandon or get angry with eachother because of her own past experience with sunburst. Not only that, twilight had no choice to try and reform starlight glimmer because she would've kept messing with the timeline.

More than likely she fell out of Cloudsdale before she could fly and only having baby wings was able to do a semi controlled glide down to the forest below. I don’t think what cozy got is what she deserved but in order for her to be reformed she has to learn something and in order for her to learn something she needs a twi talk and cozy needs to listen to twi which she didn’t so there is no way cozy can learn something so cozy can’t be reformed, so what else is there to do for her but to lock her up. Cozy had three friends she took for granted, enrolled in a school where the mane six teaches friendship l, excelled in the school and became the assistant for the head mare and still somehow still can’t comprehend the importance of friendship and how it works. She is mentally not well at all.

I kind of headcanon that with magic being a thing with this world (and ponies' physical structure), the technology could have developed completely differently to our world. Not every invention was really necessary to ponies. Maybe magic allowed some inventions to be created much easier than in our world?

I would argue that even Chrysalis and Tirek had some faint qualities to possibly get reedemeed. But Cozy Glow was most obvious one. I like later seasons, but I feel like the finally with the was kind of rushed, and could have so much more potential. Although I guess it would require at least one more episode to be done. Either to get them redeemed or actually properly adresss why they can't be;

Look into the comics, shining armor and cadence used to go to the same schools ( shining armor had a crush on her ) during that time line twilight was still a filly then, I would assume the shining armor mentioned twilight, since cadence is a reallly sweet caring pony at some point she baby sitted twilight

I actually like the idea of just an alternate universe. Like seeing the same characters and yet there differences in ways they didn't before. Because they would be from a different universe. And I could see them just carrying on doing generations like that. Because originally generation 5 was going to be that, and I liked that alot. There's so many different directions you could take the characters. And they can add new characters too that fit the story. And it would be a refresh because we'd know these characters, and yet we don't know that version of the character, because the partial would be different. Like some could be different pony species or their design is quite a bit different. And it could harken back to how in the older generations they'd reuse some characters but depending on the generation characters design or even personality changed. But I think if they kept the main 6 they'd be similar enough to the ones we know, but have their own difference and flare to them. Because that personally would be fun to me, if they're like the same characters yet they're different at the same time. And I know people like making different versions of the main 6 so I could see it going well if done right.

sombra is a topic that bothers me for many reasons. the show and the comics definitely aren't canon to the other so while we know comic sombras umbrom side and past we know nothing about the show sombras past. though this annoyes me more just like sombra in the show had a wasted potential going by the shows own logic twilight and sombras relationship in the show was wrong. Twilights fear back when Sombra first appeared shows this not only was it a early midnight sparkle hint it indicates midnight or twilight could mind control sombra or sombra changed to be on midnight or twilights side his eyes instead of the green we see was blue like the blue sparkles from twilight..so how is sombra and twilights relationship nothing in the show when twilight had that fear when she knew nothing about sombra just like Sombra knew nothing of her it makes no sense. and you would think do to this fear twilight would start believing theirs more to sombra and try reforming him that they are not meant to be enemies yet she never brings that fear or anything up again even though the element of magic releaseing similar blue dark magic which turned sunset into a mind controling monster would bring that fear up but it didn't.

Just as a quick update: I was not aware that the team behind the remake, Fighting is Magic Aurora, are composed of some very bad people. My entire thought process was: "Oh, cool, someone is remaking that game." and I included it. I didn't think to search up the dev team of a remake of a fangame that wasn't the main focus of the video on Twitter because... why would I do that? Aurora took up 11 seconds of a 9 minute long video. With that being said, still, I will not include Aurora in any future videos. I also did not mean to 'disrespect' Them Fightin' Herds or Fighting is Magic. Actually, in the video, I called out that a lot of people who played TFH called it one of the best fighting games ever, so I'm not entirely sure how people came away with the idea that I was disrespecting TFH. And about the devs behind TFH contacting Faust on Twitter first, I was just following what the wikipedia page said about Faust. This is just a fun talking video with a rough script, not a journalistic essay. And no, I'm not making these mistakes because I am purposefully evil and want to watch the world burn.
