Years ago, here in the US, there was a wonderful trend called “ Simple Acts of Kindness”, where you tried daily to do unexpected acts of kindness to loved ones and better yet, strangers. But somehow the trend got lost in the shuffle . We need to start practicing it once again. That was the theme behind the live action version of Disney’s Cinderella staring Lily James. Thank you for practicing it with your kids thru ALMA. It’s food for the soul .

It's sad when parents use cellphones as babysitters for their children. If it's educational and on a limited schedule, then it's fine. But to use it as a way to occupy a child's time with texting, games, watching cartoons, etc. because a parent doesn't want to be bothered is not okay with me. Last week I was at a restaurant where the parents and their two children (maybe 10 or 11 years old) ordered their meal. After they ordered, all of them were on their phones. It's like, where's the conversation? You guys are sitting together at a table right across of each other and all you can do is pull out your phones? Now's a good time to just relax and chat with each other. How disappointing that was. We didn't have all this technology when I was young. I played in the backyard with my friends, camped in their tents at night, rode bikes around the block. And you can't say that no one does that anymore because it's so last century. It definitely can be done, you just can't be lazy about it.

Brilliantly done Elisabeth! Nothing is more important. I was a teacher for 30 years and I too taught this way in my classroom and of course also with my two sons. They are now in their 30 and are both extremely kind and caring people. 🤗🇨🇦🤗

When I see you and your girls on boats I am surprised to see that they do not wear life preserver vests. Why is this so? And, oh, kindness is so beautiful. I love people. I love loving people. I love the fact you don’t let your kids just lay around on phone or I pad .I love how your girls do crafts and socialize when you all are out together. I get so tired going to Resturant and kids are not talking to parents they are looking at phone. I think you are a great parent!
