This week the girls started school again, which brings a big change in our daily life after this long and busy summer. It is quite a struggle for me to combine full day job and mum life, many of you will understand my situation perfectly.
We had a lot of rain and rough weather this week, some days even without being able to operate with our boats. There is also a little update about goat Ercolino - luckily he is doing better :-)

I'm with Rosie - at her age, school was pretty "meh" to me too. I just wanted to stay home with MY best friend - my Mum. I'm glad you got to have a few days home Elizabeth, rough weather has its positives too. Love your gorgeous goats & I am so happy to see Ercolino looking much healthier - a solid poop is a good sign! I'm like Rosi and would rather stay home. I love the peace and comforts of home. I enjoyed traveling while living out of a suitcase for 3 years, but my gardens, pets, family, and home give me more pleasure. Attending church is a close second. I can travel the world from home thanks to people like you and Nicki. I think the storm was a gift from God to you because it allowed you to remove a big item from your to-do list and focus on your new routines for several days. God is so good to send tiny miracles to those who love Him. Have a beautiful week.

Thank you for reminding me of getting my daughters ready for school in the morning. You are such a warm and caring mom. It sounds like life is very busy with all of your responsibilities, and yet you always seem so calm and centered. The girls are adorable, thoughtful and lucky to have so many languages in their lives. It's beautiful where you live. The contrast between tourist season and when there aren't so many tourists around is quite striking. What a beautiful life you have made for your daughters.

Hello Elizabeth! Thank you for another lovely video. You probably didn’t realise at the time… When you were brushing little Rosie’s hair, one could see the school logo incl. school name on her T-shirt, meaning it would be easy to find where she goes to school. It might be safer if you blur that out to keep all as safe as possible. Not a criticism, just something I noticed.
I am definitely a Rosi personality. ❤. I’m sure by now you have already adjusted the straps on Rosi’s backpack so that it fits snug like yours. So much easier to carry when adjusted to the size of the wearer. Loved seeing the snacks with the personal note for each girl. Your kids are having the best childhood!!

I was surprised that the school bus was white instead of the bright yellow ones that we are so accustomed to seeing in the US. Not being critical, just noting the color difference. The school must be very far away if the girls have to go by school bus. Maybe a nearby town? I’m curious… being a former educator, does the school begin at Kinder & finish at Middle School? Or do the girls attend two different schools?

I have one like Rosie, now in their 30s and would rather be at home or with friends, really not keen on a long commute or at least needs to know they can be home not long after 6pm. I would say has a good work life balance and enjoys life. You have the most delightful relationship with your girls and really acknowledge their differences. ❤
