Autumn has arrived and the sunsets are beautiful this time of the year - our Mini Italian Teachers will teach you the most important word for Autumn in this episode. We also had very special guests, or better friends, on board to enjoy a wonderful evening cruise in perfect company. By the way - many of you wanted to know how we handle social media etc with our girls: I explain a bit about Leni's and Rosi's habits to use technical advices.

As I passed by a shop in Praiano I saw Rosi and turned around to say Hello! Goat Morning! Told the woman in the shop we are huge fans of Goat Morning on youtube 🙌! Dear Elizabeth, Bravo for your message. I find this topic very important and valuable. I agree with your opinions and advice. It was hard for me as when cell phones came out there were no apps or limits for parents. It was a very hard struggle but we made it through and realise the importance of family and friends over phones, TV and computers. Thank you for sharing your opinion and I wish you a wonderful week!

Years ago, here in the US, there was a wonderful trend called “ Simple Acts of Kindness”, where you tried daily to do unexpected acts of kindness to loved ones and better yet, strangers. But somehow the trend got lost in the shuffle . We need to start practicing it once again. That was the theme behind the live action version of Disney’s Cinderella staring Lily James. Thank you for practicing it with your kids thru ALMA. It’s food for the soul .

I do have a question. When I see you and your girls on boats I am surprised to see that they do not wear life preserver vests. Why is this so?

It's sad when parents use cellphones as babysitters for their children. If it's educational and on a limited schedule, then it's fine. But to use it as a way to occupy a child's time with texting, games, watching cartoons, etc. because a parent doesn't want to be bothered is not okay with me. Last week I was at a restaurant where the parents and their two children (maybe 10 or 11 years old) ordered their meal. After they ordered, all of them were on their phones. It's like, where's the conversation? You guys are sitting together at a table right across of each other and all you can do is pull out your phones? Now's a good time to just relax and chat with each other. How disappointing that was. We didn't have all this technology when I was young. I played in the backyard with my friends, camped in their tents at night, rode bikes around the block. And you can't say that no one does that anymore because it's so last century. It definitely can be done, you just can't be lazy about it.

I just got Duolingo and I’m learning Italian… I’m so happy to watch your videos and get ideas for my grandkids. One of them is also 11 years old. I never thought of suggesting Duolingo to her but now I will 👍❤️🤗🥰
