It's the only chance for in born twins in the game to be identical, and I can't help but take advantage. :) Loving this Let's Place btw.

I've seen several people have John cheat, but I'm with you. Man's a Family sim through and through, lol.

I do (almost) the same thing with Don and Cassandra. I send move them out before sending them in a honeymoon and then Mortimer "gifts" them a house as a wedding present. Aka I give them the funds to purchase the place next door (it has a "Goth" feel) and when they get back from their honeymoon, they renovate the place with a mix of Victorian Gothic and Don's sort of modern and Takemizu style.

I swear my game is broken, lol. I have literally made them fight until all romantic flags were gone and he STILL married her. Oh well, I've come to the conclusion that Darren is not right for Cass (if I remember correctly, he's a bit older than her too) in part because I feel like she's kept them just friends for a reason. And then I discovered Brandi/Darren and fell in love. So I don't fight it, Cass and Don get married and if she catches him cheating she kicks him out without a penny.

Nina is what I consider the most moral type of Romance sim. She's none monogamous and isn't looking to be tied down or tie anyone down. Her partners are free to date others, and IF she finds herself a lover to live with, its either another Romance or Pleasure sim and they both see other people as well. I also know the game pushes for her to marry Mortimer right away and move him in, but I just feel like Dina would want more of the Goth fortune than what'd she get if he moved in with her. Nina ended up having a kid with Mortimer (before he married her sister but after they were engaged) via ACR risky woohoo. His genes are strong as well. Nina and Dina's kids from Morty look so much like him.

Did university 3 years as a social worker, end of first year covid hit. Had to do my last assignments with no library and uni closed. Second year zoom (they just read off the power point so annoying) and placement 70% at home. Third year back to normal but was o behind didn't graduate in social Work, social studies instead. Worst 3 years of my life, was so happy to go to uni and hated it so much. So i related to hating it😅 (It's Casper/Crafty)

Gotta say, those the best looking Ottomas twins I've seen. My current ones don't even look human, extremely sunken in eyes (to the point the bottom part has a sharp "shelf" look) with sharp cheekbones that clash horribly with their wide mouths and chin.

For the Ottamasses, I give Peter the Hopeless Romantic trait as he's the only married/engaged Romance sim who hasn't cheated or been set up to cheat immediately. I also put Samantha and Peter on birth control right after the twins are born. The twins can be unfortunate looking, but I figure that's more of a mistake on Maxis' part.

Very true! Toddlers are so hard and yet I'm some kind of masochist because I have the triplets and quads mod, so lots of toddlers at once happen.

When you aren't playing on hard mode, there is a "toddler pillow" that looks like the pet pillow but gives the toddlers a bit faster energy, so that their other needs don't get as low before they wake up.

Miranda and Mercutio is a pairing I've never done before. He starts out with a crush on Hermia (and is indifferent to Miranda) and while she typically goes for Puck, with the family rilvary I take that as Mercution washing his hands of the family. (When I first started playing the Sims I was really into enemies to lovers, and went with Romeo/Tybalt and Mercutio/Juliette, lol. Not easy couples.)

I swear I learn something new about this game all the time. I had no idea looking at art increases a sim's fun. I just thought they increased environment and looked good.

Some of the interesting things about the Capp family is that they are matriarical, and its implied that Gonaril and Reagan had an arranged marriage. Reagan and her husband don't even have crushes on each other (and I don't think they're even friends) and Gonaril and Albany typically have a lukewarm relationship at best.

I swear Sims 2 nannies KNOW when we want to dismiss them and will purposely wander around the lot to make impossible to corner.

The Newsons are one of my favorite families from the beginning! Not even sure why, but I've always found it such fun.

I'm late to the party, but as a general rule in my own game, babies can sleep in single tile cribs, while toddlers have to have the bigger ones.

If it helps, the benefit of Toddlers learning to walk is supposed to be that they can get out of their cribs on their own.
