Where do you get the one time use bolts for the filter? I don’t see them as part of the filter online. Funny how the reusable gasket comes with it but the one time use bolts down!

Auto statt/stop.is actually good for your motor oil and engine. Each time it's used it stops fuel from being burnt and dumped in your oil. Oil analysis shows much less fuel dilution using it.

Assuming you’re a gm tech from your videos, genuinely asking is it better for longevity to keep it stock with DEF and egr, or get a good tune and delete kit. Because I’m between getting a 2023/24 high country or a ram eco diesel. These seem to have more pep but I’d prefer a deleted truck because reliability a lil more power and because it’s super important (not really) ✨the sound✨.

Great video! After removing a few of these 3.0 oil pans, we found that installing a long 1/2" coarse thread into the oil drain hole and attaching a chain to pull straight down on the throwaway OEM pan separated it from the block very quickly without damaging the block by prying against it.

The first thing I do, is delete the Def... I don't care if it screws the warranty.

I really like the lane keep assist feature on my 1500. I was disappointed my 2500 doesn’t have it. Feels like there’s no autopilot and I have to manually drive the truck the whole time. Compared to how my 1500 casually keeps me from crossing over lines.

Thank you for making a video that includes the topic of the block heater. My Facebook forums are flooded with guys arguing back and forth about this topic. It’s like some guys feel more manly if they can get through really cold weather without plugging in their truck. Here where I live we went through 3 days of single digit days with below zero nights. I plugged my truck in 2 out of the three days. I usually only plug it in a couple hours before I start it for the first time that day but I read somewhere that you should plug it in for 4 hours. Not sure if that is true or not. Also you taught me something new about the DEF system. I didn’t know that there were heaters in the tank and also that the system doesn’t work when it’s below freezing thank you for clearing that up!

190 between regen. Last one was 170, this one shows 190 on the idash. Should I be concerned? 22 lm2 w/50k.. however I’ve only put 15k on it after purchasing with 35. I kinda figured the more often it regens the cleaner it keeps your dpf as long as it doesn’t cause issues with the truck.

Down-the-road resale on the 3.0L may be an issue due to that belt. Time will tell.

I also have the stillen scoop and the s&b intake. Love the combo. Got 33 mpg on my way to work on a state road not freeway!

I’m running the VSE CC on my 2024 LZO and am starting to get the P04DB on below freezing start ups, even with an empty can. I can clear the code after startup, but sometimes it’ll come back on after a short shutdown and restart. Still, it’s annoying considering I can’t remote start due to a CEL at below freezing temps.

My question here is if the PPE resonator delete, the PPE zilla, PPE intake and inter cooler kit, Vse catch can and the stillen scoop will also improve reliability and longevity of the vehicle? I’m also under warranty but hoping these things will not void the warranty.

Got a P0747 on my 24 3.0 yesterday. Dealer cleared the code and said I should be okay to drive to my preferred dealer. 27,100 miles.

Why is your truck getting such poor milage. Is it an elevation model? Bigger tires? Or you have a heavy foot?

So, I just got the service emissions system warning. All nox sensors are good, O2 sensors good. Everything within the scanner shows good, except my average distance between regens shows at 11k miles!!! So, I'm guessing my soot load is high (my scanner doesn't show it). What would prevent it from inducing a regen cycle?

Anymore updates on this? You've been the only person to show a oil analysis sheet on it. I was looking at it for when it comes time for it's oil change, it's pricing is decent if you order it in the 5 gallon bulk and out prices the amsoil. (Which is normally how I order oil for the vehicles, tools, and equipment.) I do really wish this engine was rated for 5W40 it would have made my life easier.)
