It's in a better place now than it was then..but it's problems aren't to do with being a dead game now.

Yeah I've not found any since the beginning of the season. I've not looked in any shrines though which is supposedly where they spawn most. Never on any shipwrecks now.

Hmm I've not heard anything. Watched HappyKraken do some last night and they didn't have any issues. I've not done the fleet myself so can't say first hand. Maybe submit a support ticket to rare if it keeps happening?

I guess they just have a lot of time to play and have utilised various farming methods. I think I've found two since launch of S12...sold both but still... yeah. It's gonna be a grind for sure.

Sorry to hear that. I haven't played much since the update but you're not the only one having issues from what I've heard.

A long grind for sure. I'm hearing reports that it's only a slight nerf and that it's now every 30 mins instead of 15 or something. Not sure.

Yeah, the weapon fixes are great! Hope they give the double barrel a buff of some kind... It's a clunky old heap of junk to use. It would be cool if there was something with a recharge mechanic in SoT.

well anchoring has been the meta for a good while now, otherwise players simply run away and repair all the damage that was created...and keep running, like the infamous running reapers. the borders are not swimming as fast as the ship, they are shooting out from the cannons past your ship and then climb the ladder as you sail by them. you can still use crates and loot on your capstan to hinder anchoring, but it doesn't work on a sloop, and never did work on a sloop concerning throwing knives...the most you could attach prior to the update was 2-3 knives and you still could anchor if you looked at the middle if the capstan.

well unfortunately, that "originality" you want players to come up with, aint happenin, because boarding and anchoring has been the meta for multiple years now, and the thing with putting anything on your anchor is that it just makes it more annoying for the enemy, hence why they also removed being able to put loot on your anchor, because it just hinders other players and rare doesn't want that, so if you're tired of having people play the game normally, then go play safer seas, or just go play another game.

@Hello_hi Telling new players to play something else because the game has such a limited play style doesn't seem like the best method to retain said new players. Also, safer seas is a ridiculous game mode, earning less than 1/3 payouts, having to run all over the outpost to sell because you can't be a captain in SS. Long. My issue is not that I don't like pvp anyway. I just think there needs to be more ways to approach it than the only one in the game. What is the problem with hindering enemy players' boarding ships? Why does Rare want it so easy to drop someone's anchor? Make them think on their feet from time to time. They should be encouraging players to come up with ever changing tactics to engage the enemy so every fight feels unique. Oh, and no, players are not shooting themselves over to board either, at least, not every time. I've been boarded a couple of times now when passing stationary players a good distance away at full sail without a shot being fired, so they couldn't have cannoned themselves over.

I'm holding out hope they'll realize the commendation numbers are just stupidly high and reduce them.. eventually.. maybe in season 14..

I’m on a Xbox one I can’t see anything in my inventory, except scattershot a lot of logos on the crates and barrels are to where I can’t see them and whenever I pull it up to get a sword or anything in my wheel, I can’t see anything except the food at the top so I think I am gonna have to submit a ticket to support

Yeah sounds like a bug or perhaps a full reinstall needed? Not sure if you've tried that. Definitely submit a support ticket though with screenshots and I'm sure they'll be able to help!
