If you haven't played since 5-6 years ago it's pretty hard to meet the kraken.... Btw it's a world event like anything else, the chance is the same for it as for a Fort or Fleet. If you don't see anything in the sky it's a Kraken.

Ok I'm sad the skelly ships and meg spawns will be reduced :( Though it would be great if they would update the hunters call faction with a lot of new stuff, like representing them,have tasks to hunt large game like bigger sharks, to megs, to whales, giant turtles, giant sea sqiuds etc then the defaults in game.

Update was 45g , stutters seem to be gone , sharks are still a problem , skelly ships have been fixed or atlesst I didn’t see one the hour I played earlier .

There will still be cheaters…but the truth is there weren’t-that- many to begin with. I’m over 160 hg and there’s only been a very small few that seemed to be cheating. Omg they’re actually fixing the game some what, been waiting for this a long time and it’s only now getting a half glance look and fix because they’re adding the game to PS5 and don’t want there game to be the most uninstalled game in history within 2 week.
The anti cheat will work for just a few days, then paid cheaters will find a way, but at least there will be some protection for free cheats, because as of today, there's none
This will be the first time i'll play on high seas in like half a year. I got so tired of grinding and stacking forts just to get sunk by a flying pirate. Looking forward to this!

This game has become a huge joke. Brave Vanguard here & the game really has become a mess. I’ve stopped playing it because there’s no reason anymore. It’s the same damn garbage, over & over. Repetitive trash & horrible community.
Oh no I don't think so. It'll just be a case of the narrative of each season will be the story, like how they did things in year one. As long as you play a few times during each season you should be aware of what's going on story wise. They've not said whether they're adding tall tales ever again...I hope they do as I always preferred that over adventures. There will likely be in-game changes and activities added for each season, rather than time limited adventures now.

Cause in cases like me, i don't even know the direction of the lore anymore after the while golden sands restore/destroy fiasco since it was time limited and then all the other events that came after it. That means that people like me who enjoys the story but don't have lots of time to pout into the game will be lost, i don't even know what's the deal with merrick and what happened to him and the flame heart fiasco (i remember a flaming giant head in the sky and that's not a thing anymore. There's no tall tale that explains it)
I was wondering if they'll add a link accounts option for Playstation on their website alongside the other social/platform links. Not sure how they'll do it but I do know to play on Playstation you'll have to use your Xbox account like you do with Minecraft or whatever. It was confirmed cross progression so it should do!
I wish they didn't announce when the AC comes out, so cheaters get a ban surprise, but oh well, kinda late. Also the exclusive Ruby items look dope, sad that some people (me included) don't have a PS5 cuz I would love to get them

Seriously, I'm expecting Easy Anti-Cheat to catch modified game files easily.

just wait. Tbh, HG was just a goodie for the people that only had fun in fighting and only fighting. There will be some new recommendations in the future, trust me. But its not in the slightest a main aspect of the game as it was intended
With the addition of new weapons im hopefully holding my breath that double gunning, quick swap will be fixed like the exploit it always was id take being mash clicked with a sword anyday over being 1 shot in the space of two seconds by someone either using a macro or has crazy good muscle memory.

Duel arenas on land up to 4v4 so people can practice close combat. Maybe get some good 1v1 sword fights

Kinda liked the frequency of the skelly ship getting ashen tomes is hard when everyone is trying to be toxic
I love skelly ship spawns! They're easy enough to sink and gives a decent bump in emissary level.

As far as I know your pirate and all cosmetics will transfer because it's cross progression, cross play so should be good to go!

Well, considering PS five is joining a game that’s already been out for years. It’s their way of getting a little bit of catch up

It's not just you. I personally haven't had issues with dx12 but worth switching to dx11 to see if it's better for you.
