Truckers act like it takes 5 business days to stop, when it's literally more like 5sec, and a mere 525ft (its literally not even twice as long as a car). The cop was visible for at least 1500ft. The trucker blew by going at least 40mph. That trucker never really even attempted to slow down.

If I’m driving my semi truck and trailer at 45 mph how far in feet should I be behind the car in front of me?

You can use PC while under a load, you just can’t advance the load. My way is to drop the trailer at a TS, ( note it in comments) then bobtail to Walmart…then bobtail back.

American truck makers days are numbered. As more and more truckers realize all the real advancements there should have been all along. The rebadge is the same crap year after year with minor body and trim improvements, and everyone goes ooh ahh. KW and Peterbuilt have long been hijacked.

As a newcomer to trucking, I recently made the switch from International to Peterbilt. So far, I have to say I prefer the International. One major drawback of the Peterbilt is its limited steering radius, which I've found to be quite restrictive. The fridge is ridiculously dinky. International, Freightliner and Volvo is much more practical.

This truck is no good for me almost everything you love about peterbilt performance and comfortability is gone this is basicly a downgrade 😤

Here in Australia the Cascadia and DD15 engine are regarded as light duty crap. Any decent weight or tough conditions and the Cascadia is just not up to it. American highways only. Would not have one on a bet. Got to be Kenworth or Mack.

lets talk about the cabin air filter you have to tear half the dash apart to get to. then is pancaked against the firewall so its almost impossible to get out.

5:55 is incorrect on a 4 lane divided highway there's no need or not required to have a triangle in front of your tractor because there shouldn't be any traffic coming from the front of your tractor at least we hope not. So all 3 triangles should be in the back of you tractor and trailer set in such a way where it tells other motorist to avoid your vehicle. One triangle about 50 feet from the trailer roughly lined up on the left corner of your DOT bumper the 2nd roughly 100 feet from the first in the center and the 3rd roughly 100 feet from the 2nd line up on the right corner of your DOT bumper. That's according to the FMCSA hand book. Get yourself a copy if you don't have one
