What is a trucks stopping distance? How long does it take for a loaded semi truck to stop? These are all questions that a lot of drivers are asking themselves. The answer, however, is not that simple.
In this video we review some of the factors that directly affect the stopping distance of a truck. We also take into account distracted driving and illustrate how it negatively adds to the overall distance required for a combination vehicle to come to a complete stop.
