You missed out on the newest part of Kolkata called the New Town with biggest urban park called the ECO Park, Biswa Bangla gate and Mother's wax museum, a totally different and chilled vibe. That area is also considered the first smart city area of India. 😊

Those ambassadors used to be everywhere when I started going to India back in 94. Will be a shame to see them disappear but I imagine they are quite polluting. Love Calcutta. One of my favourite cities in India.

I was in Chinatown yesterday und also Talat Noi. 70% of the people in Talat Noi are Tourists. the run to all 'the hotspots' (instagram, RUclips) with there phones, make a photo, looked at Google Maps, Make a photo and so on... Sometimes I think, they don't even know, what City they are in 🤔 and when people like you, continue to advertise, this district will be just as broken as many other places in world. I know what I'm talking about, I visit Bangkok for the first time in the 80s.

I was confronted for taking photos of buildings (non religious), and with no people in range. I couldn't understand a word he was saying but he was hitting my camera quite hard with his fist, which to be honest was putting me in fight mode. I wasn't sure if I was going to end up surrounded or if the police would have automatically taken his side? But I became just equally as angry after he started hitting my camera. I thought it was for the best if I just walked away and he didn't follow me. Even more confusing was that I'd had many locals having fun photobombing my photos and also asking me to take their picture in which I emailed to them.

Total rubbish what your talking !! I am here now in agadir november 2024 , beach dirty ! They have no machine to clean the beach and rubbish everywhere. Restaurant prices are a joke , beer price inbars a joke , 6 eu for half a pint food prices in Restaurant high , average meal for 2 with a drink = 40- 70€ + ..... area looks like a building site ...everybody's your friend but hassel you , yes my friend we love you give us your money . Old people walking down the street getting hassle from sellers and buggers. You are misleading the public . Stop it now .
