I was in Tunisia a couple of weeks ago and really liked it. The colosseum of El Jem was definitely the highlight ! Virtually deserted and only £3 to enter ! Amazing place ! I also visited El Jem museum which has fantastic mosaics from the old Roman city. Looking forward to seeing more from Tunisia Chris 👍
Good stuff! I didn’t make it to the El Jem museum sadly but it was so great to visit there. Sfax will be coming soon, to me a hidden gem and my favourite city that I visited there!
Chris - I came across a few of your ‘what not to do’ videos and I love what you’re doing with this channel. Among travel RUclipsrs you have a real talent for conveying useful information in an authentic and no nonsense sort of way. Hope to see much more!
Thank you, appreciate the feedback and I'm glad you like what I've been doing. I certainly hope that I can build up the numbers of viewers and carry on making a lot more!
Thoroughly enjoyed your visit to Tunisia and the colosseum of El Jem unbelievably majestic and beautiful in every way. Thanks for showing me something that I didn’t know existed. Look forward to seeing more of your travels.
Another great vid.. I just wanna add that you are always allowed inside a Mosque whether Muslim or not. Nobody can stop anybody from entering a Mosque.
Look the music video from MN8 dreaming after seeing that I had too to put that on my bucket list 😃 I was blessed to the coliseum in Italy 🇮🇹 I have to see this it's so cool 😎 ♥️ brochures
Nice trip report. Thank you. Do you think it is OK to stay one week in El Jem or is the City too small? I don't have to do too much. I am happy to walk aound and have some nice places to find food.
Great videos. Thank you. Are you there now? We are going on the 16th feb next friday..was wondering what the weather is like, thinking about clothes what to pack lol
Chris being an expert on Tunisia give the powers at be your findings and recommendations to improve standards while Tunisia as competitive edge and can invest in infrastructure..while Spain as become woke to many tourists climate change etc. Get a fee for your excellent observations, you need outside fresh eyes to identify positive change to increase tourism. my wife and i go to sousse for my birthday and anniversary for peace and lovely beaches cheap travel great shopping 😅 use your platform to tell Tunisia tourism/ government For a fee ..Thanks for excellent advice.
I'm off to Sousse in a couple weeks and looking to make a trip to EL-Jam, so out of interest how much did the mini bus ride cost, there and back. Also do you know if there is set table of when the bus go and come back. thanks
It’s well worth the trip, I’m pretty sure it only cost a few Euros. Really cheap! Do take a look at my video “what not to do in Tunisia” - it goes into detail how the mini buses work and a bunch of other useful stuff
So the spring roll type thing you ate is called Brik, it contains usally a mix of potatoes, eggs, and thuna with some herbs, those ingredients can be mixed and made into a finger shape as the one you ate, but more usally a bigger version is made with a hole egg put inside the fried pastary and it's delicious
I ended up eating a few of these during my time in Tunisia, I loved them! I had an amazing big one in Tunis on my last day though not on video. I’d eat one right now if I could!
@@ChrisKermisi love that video! You just won a follower! I’m going to Monastir with my wife next month. How much is the louage from there to Sousse? Is the louage the best way to move or taxis are better? I also read about apps like BOLT and YASSIR
@liveyhuggyman7027 great to hear, thanks! I didn’t visit Monastir myself so I don’t know, but louage is always cheap. Check out my “what not to do” video where I go in detail about louage and other transport.

Nice, i just want to say to that you are the best vlogger ever! Not so fast and aggressive like others. You speak in detail and film the videos really good. Apreciate your work keep it up man!(:
Italian influences my Arse ...Pasta and others food are all PURE TUNISIAN FOOD FROM 10.000 years ago... each corner, village, town and cities has its own delicacies and food , that will be may be over 5000 kind of food ...😂
How far a train will take you in UK for £2.5?!. People should really appreciate public transport in other countries. And guess what?! You have a seat too.
Hi Chris. I'm planning to go to Tunisia with my wife and one child , so I can't decide where to go, Hammamet or Sousse? I don't know how long it takes to get from the airport to Hammamet? I would not like it to be a very long trip because of a small child.
From what I remember they were both around an hour from Tunis. I used train for Sousse on the way out and louage back from Hammamet at the end of the trip. With a small child perhaps by train is easy which could make Sousse a better option for you.
@nazmeenbe9376 It’s not bad, it just wasn’t exactly as advertised when I stayed. Rooms didn’t look as good as the pictures and rooms were smaller than described. Location is nice but I wouldn’t want to stay there for long myself though.
The Tunisia series has been quite nice. Looking forward to the rest of it.👍
Glad you like it! Working on the next one this evening 🙂

It was around early September. The weather was great I thought, pretty warm but not crazy
Amazing 🍺🍺

That roll is like a fish pie. It s pastry: fried potatoes, egg, chicken or meat, parsley. Im Tunisian,I live in Devon
Nice
What happened to Djerba? Wonderful place?😊
I never made it there, not enough time. I had to make a choice between Djerba and Tozeur and I glad with what I chose

I grew to love that stuff in Tunisia and ate many. Some much better ones later in the journey too!
Anyone can go into a mosque you don’t have to be a muslim . I believe you can enter outside of prayer hours or you can even ask to watch .
Yes, if he asks he can come inside and watch while is time to prayer.
I'll be coming to Tunisia sousse in February 2025 8 night for the very first time gonna stay at Riadh palms resort & Spa hotel
Welcome

Can you recommend place hotel to stay in
I can’t really, I wouldn’t really recommend the place that I stayed
İt depends whether if you are looking for a five star hotel or a guest house tell me what you are looking for i can recommend the best for you
