_Terima kasih_ Thank you to both of you for the kind compliments on KL/malaysia. On the other hand, I myself have also had the pleasant opportunity to visit some places in the UK, italy and the netherlands too apart from a few other european countries/cities, and view for myself the beautiful things in these places which I have truly enjoyed 👍 But at the same time I'm also very much looking forward to going back to malaysia 😬
understanding well in bukit bintang area , time passed more development happening ,ie :- use of monorail system travel around, MRT line 1 , walk way from Pavillion mall to KLCC , famous of Arab food surrounding , premier mall of pavillion mall n food court, lalaport mall n etc. hope see more you video
I've been a few times to KL (before I started recently on RUclips) so it's not new to me, though I've certainly seen it change since I first visited in 2006. I didn't have much time there on this visit, but sometime over the next year I want to return and make a lot more videos in KL and Malaysia. It's such a beautiful country and it's the place that first drew me to SE Asia back in 2006. They'll be a video set in Chinatown coming next Sunday. Thanks for watching!
Wow. We're in Bukit Bintang for a month and we're going to hit every one of these spots. Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to share this.
Glad you liked it! KL is a city I’ve been to many times and I really love it there. Bukit Bintang is a great base but of course there’s so much more. Enjoy your time there.
Lived in bukit bintang 2/3 months when living in KL. amazing vibe but prefer an area with more locals, who is the sweetest people in the world. Bangsar
It was really something very different to me so I wanted to try the parts separately to see what they were like. It did taste better with everything together though!
Love the video and youre cool guy 👍🏻 im from Sabah (East malaysia) and will be going there for just the fourth time in my life, so this time i thought about looking at videos from a westerner’s perspective. Ironically as a malaysian, i hate durian 😂
@@ChrisKermis okay I have a question for you, interrogation time hahah 😂 What about durian that you hated/disliked (several times) previously? Was it exclusively the strong nasty overpowering smell that made you simply couldn't bring yourself to eat/swallow the flesh? Was it the smell, plus the soft creamy texture that stopped you in your track? Or was it the taste, which you found weird, hence unacceptable?
Sure, the texture is like custard, no problem there. The smell is really off-putting, and aroma is really directly linked to flavour so I guess that’s it. When I tried it this time, I did get the off-putting aroma, but not as much as I’ve experienced it in the past, and then it became more subdued in the flavour. It’s hard to say more than that, but at this point I would eat it again and not think of it as something potentially disgusting but as something enjoyable in a strange way.
@@ChrisKermis It's ok, we understand..😊.. Even when i studied culinary at university in Malaysia, we been taught that Westerners eat rice with fork.... 😊
it does not matter. we dont like them to impose their eating etiquette, we are not suppose to do that to them as well. as long as we enjoy food, that'll be fine eh?
We've been to KL recently, and we loved it! KL is so underated... thanks for sharing this!
It really is underrated, I think KL and Malaysia generally are great to visit! Thanks for watching

Low yatt is a dreamland for tech people for sure
I could have easily spent some money here if I was't travelling with hand luggage only!

I certainly enjoyed the one there in KL, wouldn’t hesitate to go back next time

Thank you!

Haha thank you! Keep trying with the durian and eventually you may like it!
I bet it is very cold inside the malls.
You’d think so but it’s not bad at all. Refreshing compared to outside but certainly not cold enough to want more than a T shirt
Awesome video ...bravo Chris
Thank you!
Cheers to you
Awesome durian snack
Though I've had it a few times, this is the first time I actually liked it!
Durian is like a blue cheese.... stinky but nice to the palate of the lovers
Haha yes and also an acquired taste, it took me a while before I started enjoying blue cheese!
Sungai Wang literally means Money River.
Sungai = River
Wang = Money
Not the worst name for a mall I guess!
Welcome
Thank you!
Selamat Datang Terimakasih🤎
Thank you!

I can't believe I liked it this time! Tried it a few times in the past and never did but I guess it really is an acquired taste!
