Thank you, glad it helped! There’s some really great places across Morocco and I’m still making videos from my last trip - My new favourite is coming next!
thank you for a great review , I need your advice , we will be 4 days all in all in agadir and I want to do one trip its between Marrakech and ESSAOUIRA I have seen both your reviews but cant real make up my mind hhaha both long trips in car . so would appreciate your advice or anyone who have been to both places
Thank you for your wonderful, insightful videos. If you had to choose one destination, which would you choose out of Fes, Marrakesh, and Rabat? We only have 3 days in Morroco and can only do one location. Thank you in advance for your input.
Thanks for watching! I would say if you only have 3 days then go where most people start, Marrakesh. Stay on a riad, explore the medina and maybe even take a day trip to the Atlas Mountains. That would offer the most for a first short stay. Just beware the nasty folks who want to “help” you find your riad when you first arrive in the medina. They really pray on ripping off new arrivals. The vast majority of people are great though!
Hey @CrisKermis, I contacted you a few weeks ago in the comments but I still have soms questions if you don’t mind helping. Where did you get your Dirhams? And if we want to visit some restaurants a bit more fancy than the food stands, do we need to make reservations? Thanks for your help in advance!
Sure. I simply used ATMs to get Dirhams, in the airport and then around the cities. My Maestro bank card didn't seem to work but my Mastercard was fine. I didn't go to fancy restaurants, just normal places, but I never needed a reservation.
Unlike other people who made comments about your Sahara video regarding the pricey lunches tourist trap, I really do like your honest opinions in you blog, and I'm with you on that. Thank you for your videos. I have a question if you don't mind. Are those restaurants you visited to eat take credit cards, or cash only?
@davidmaclachan6592: Marrakech is good over the whole year, might be chilly at night and you have to wear a light Doudoune (jacket with plume), but it is very pleasant at any time🙏😃
@@ChrisKermis spending only two days in Marrakech, then fly to fes, 2 days there, then over to essaouira ( which i still have to find a way to travel there)
You are being spot on about calling that juice fake. Me and friends of mine ordered some different juices on that square. All off which turned up to be some unpleasant liquids way to sugary and unnatural. The seller puts some show during preparation and looking up to him its impossible to see what is he really poured into your glasses. The real orange juice, best I have had tasted in my life made an old gentleman selling from small stall next to the entrance to Badi palace. It was cheap 15 drh, made from fresh oranges or grapefruit in front of your eyes. Next day, after visiting Bahia palace, we again went to back to that gentleman to taste his delicious juice.
That guy at 1 minute 30 was actually swearing against the billionaire Moroccan prime minister Akhannouch. Seems like the prime minister is not really loved 🤣.
MARRAKECH is amazing ... very busy ...but great ...thanks for sharing Chris
It's certainly unique! It has it's charms and it's impossible to avoid but I do love visiting the smaller cities

Marrakech es una ciudad fantástica
Great production. My friend, Rachid, from Fez, always stands to pour. It's maybe more traditional, or functional?
Thank you! I’m sure at the very least you can get more height when standing to pour. I’m a beginner though, got to start somewhere 🙂
Wonderul videography and detailed vlog.
Thank you 🙏🏽 There’s plenty more coming

@@HappyPago ....thanks for that, I'm hoping for a dip in the sea !
What about the temperature over there in February?
I don’t know myself, I’ve not been there then
i was work there for 8 years in one luxury riad inside old medina, the best time for visit marrakech is February to juin, and September to December.
we're here in January and it's absolutely amazing!!!
We had a good week mid 20s to 30 degrees C
I don't like the juice guy charged him 100 dirhams for the juice. Ma7chamtich? Shame on you.
Yeh I saw that it’s about £8 or $10 proper rip off
How much should they cost ?
Around 5 euro
@abdoubenali572 it's normal bro the RUclipsr either uses them to make money on RUclips it's kind of Fair
I got 3 juices for that price, I wasn’t actually on my own when that part was filmed
Wait what? Are there two people??
7:36 where about's is this ?

@@ChrisKermis thanks Chris, I'll be in Morocco in early October.
Have a great time, and don’t spend too much of the time in Marrakech, Morocco is so much more!

@leighnelson6083 Oh that’s a coach ride from Marrakech
You get screwed up, you paid 10x the price of the fake juice! Cheers Chris 😃
I’m sure I paid too much, but that wasn’t just for one, I wasn’t on my own

Before the earthquake I assume
What E/Q?
Yes, I actually flew out the day of the earthquake though, but from Casablanca not Marrakech
Oh, now I remember. Good point.
I was there in May, and I intend to return next year to see for myself. Nice vlog!
Thank you! There’s going to be a bunch more videos coming from some amazing places there

Ah wow I was wondering what he was saying! 😂
Heeft ie nou echt €10 voor een drankje gegeven nee toch 😂 2:36
It wasn't just for one drink, I wasn't on my own 🙂
