Are those paints oil based?

I went with a different scheme with a bit of bronze in it. The hardest part are the weapons to paint at least at first depending on what you’re painting.

You couldn't just left the legs and to make the chest standout more is just color the ribcage bones on the chest with a wraitbone color of whatever color you use for bones I personally find wraithbone perfect for the bone color and if you want the bones to be a little darker color you can just mix a very tiny bit of that base color that's called "XV-89" or whatever I can't remember it exactly but it wouldn't be hard to find since it's the only paint with numbers in it's name

He looks great! Really wish nearly all salamanders kitbash didn't consume a $42 single mini kit. It'd be nice if GW would give us some more salamanders-y stuff to use.

nice work, man I'd personally love to see the old style square-shaped plus sign-ish storm shield, but I don't ding you for still using the modern tower-shield-ish storm shields.

I love your conversion. I just also happen to think this is one of the models GW actually really nailed in it's basic form. They're very obsessed with "dynamic" poses these days, often to the detriment of the model IMO. On that topic a little goes a long way I suppose is how I'd frame it. I've been a pretty big fan of almost all the new models that don't have jump packs though.
