Very nice looking. For the eyes I know there not cannon but I've seen someone do Tyranid eyes just black, and then after the whole model got a matt or satin varnish they went back and painted the eyes with a gloss varnish and it just looked creepy. I think that could look very cool and very intimidating for space marines, especially terminators. Alternatively paint them black and then do little white lines(like a reverse purity seal) and then hit them with a very bright(maybe florescent) ink and then finish the eyes with a gloss to make them look like CRT's.
Really enjoyed this! I liked a few of the tips. One, the color selection was superb. I just did the same Terminator armor range in Macragge Blue and they just don’t pop like yours. Next, I love the idea of using the brush versus the standard spine for weathering. Like you mentioned, sponge can get very busy. Thanks again.
Balancing between readability at a distance and looking good up close has been so difficult to wrap my head around as a new painter. I also don't like using pure black or pure white because what it adds in readability it takes away in terms of realism up close IMHO. But the darker spots inside the biggest scratches sounds like a win win to me. Looking forward to trying out these techniques. Thanks!
This is such a good tuturial. I will use this for mybreat crusades warhounds. Could I request u do a word bearers color scheme tutorial when they were the imperial heralds😢
10:11 by one part pain/one part flow improver/one part water, do you mean equal parts of each? Do you dilute the flow improver at all, or is it straight? Also, what PSI do you use with this mix? Thanks, it came out awesome!
The decals aren't shaded to match the shoulder pauldrons though. They're floating on top of the paint scheme. I don't get why painters don't blend the decals in. Looks proper weird.
Thats a bit of a blanket statement. It's the same reason I didn't do a hundred other things to improve this, I have a set amount of time allocated for getting a result and shading the decal wasn't important. Painters do shade the decals and if this was a higher quality piece, I would have.
Absolutely stunning. That blue ink really makes it pop.
Very cool paint job

Sounds like an interesting idea, I'll give it a go on a future marine
Wow. Just wow. Love your work and this channel.
I’d love to see your take on the grey knights because they’re so monochromatic yet shiny
Thanks mate, I will add them to the queue

I am happy that this video was recommended. I always wanted to have Space Marines looking like that.
Glad you found it useful!
I'm happy your channel got recommended. They was a really comprehensive guide and it seems easy to follow, if the correct tools are available. Subbed!
Welcome aboard!
Awesome video!!! Just getting in to doing zenithal highlights and thus helped massively. I don't suppose you have/ planning on one for tanks??
That Cyan from S75 ink reminds me of one of the GW contrast, tho I cannot pinpoint which one exacly. Talassar blue perhaps is closest match?
i tried talassar blue after reading ur comment. looks close to me
armor came out great man

Thanks for watching!
Nice job 😊
Since i'm new in painting, can you write what you use?😊
I listened many times, and decided to paint my Ultras like you did. Tnx

yes, equal parts of all. My PSI is normally at 40 and then I control the pressure with the trigger
@@phoenixminiatureart4193 awesome, thanks! Looking forward to giving it a try!
Love this.
Cheers
Could this work on vehicles? I would love to see it!!!
Would this technique work for more earthy colored Terminators and Space Marines?
I tends to work better on more vibrant colours imo, but yes, it would
Super good. Excellent blue. Did you show these on the 40k subreddit yesterday? They look like the nice ones there.
Yes I did, I wish I had taken better pictures at that time though. The pics were too dark really
Hi could you recommend a good colour to replace the vgc ghost grey because my country doesnt have it in stock. Thanks!
What type of paint brush is that the point is really sharp on it
Hi, I’m struggling with this, what pressure are you using on your compressor?
I need help doing a army like war hounds where there armor is almost all white amd my imperial heralds where they are all gray 😢
Will add it to the list

Good TT standard.
