Never give up.
I am very happy to find your videos. You sounds very kind and honest. Thank you so much.
You're welcome
Grateful for you too!
❤️!

How much do you charge for shipping? And how do you charge accordingly for each piece? It’s a struggle to figure out 😢
Thank you so much on the advice. I’ve just started doing commissions this year and although the pay is nice , I have felt stunted. Definitely ready for a refresh button to reactive my creativity ❤
hey! but how do you then ship such a large piece from canada to the united states??
Does anyone have any tips on how to get people to actually buy my work? I’ve just started posting more consistently (a goal of mine going into 2025). My art is great, my branding is consistent and professional, people have bought it previously through word of mouth this was 5years ago before IG changed! I want to start making sales again but have a measly 200 followers 😣 How do I get followers that actually buy my work??? PLEASE 🙏 someone shed some light 😅
I use lavender Spike oil and its non toxic non paintthinner that acts like a paint thinner if your ever interested in trying traditonal oils but seems like you have a good thing going with the water mixable. just thought Ide share since I also am trying not to die lol
Very well done! Congrats on taking the risk. Keep goin! I love your work
This is the most genuine advise i found on whole youtube ❤
You're so good in painting,its beautiful!♥️♥️♥️
❤❤❤
Magic quote quality over quantity 1000%
Hi Brooke! Love the video! I'm getting into oil painting and I have some questions :) - How long do you wait for the painting to dry before packaging it? Or do you spray something protective over it? - What brand of oils do you like best? And do you use anything to dilute/mix with the oil paint for a faster drying process?
Just ran across your page on facebook. Your videos are very well produced. Do you edit them or do you outsource them? I struggle to find the time to be creative and make good videos. Love your work btw!
I guess that I arrive here a year late, but I will write you a small comment, when I opened my first Instagram account back in 2018, I was gaining followers like every week, I do geometric art, especially Islamic patterns, so after a while people begin to tell me that "art wasn't a real thing, that I better get a real job", so i did try to find a real job and after almost 5 years, I try to revive my Instagram account but it was pointless, I only received 5 likes and from friends and family, so I open a new Instagram account, and I only have 30 or 35 followers, nobody is giving me like just a couple of family members and some friends, but nobody seems willing to follow, and even less, to buy something. So I have all my art materials and the knowledge and now I am thinking that it was all a waste of time and money thanks to this silly Instagram algorithm. But thank you very much for your video, it was very motivating in a sense! 😉
What do you do in there times of slow sales? I’ve had years with very little sales, can I actually sell regularly, is the price wrong etc yet you’re full time; how do you catch up with those months of no finances ? Ps I love the mushroom abstracts; a mix of total abstraction and realism, very cool 🥰☺️
Thanks for sharing this - especially nice to hear how long it takes you to finish a series. I feel like I paint so slow and it'll never work for me because of that. But I just see so many time lapse videos I guess!
First time here, thanks for the great info and the snarking humor, without having to resort to snarky launguage. ❤
we all need to touch ass once in a while
You are much to good to be a failure.
I love your art. I admire it. Whenever i am staring at your paintings, it feels like i've got into another world and all of my problems fly away.
2:43 so true
She is hot though
Well done! very inspiring...but I was thinking why print 10 copies , you can print on demand instead, like print one copy then print more only when people buy
Very cool! The behind the scenes of your work and the other businesses was fascinating. Well done!
This is joyous - I love watching you paint and winning - well done 👏
Thank you very much! ☺️
I started merging my art business into a hybrid of painting and wellness products, and I feel like painting got abandoned this last month. I absolutely needed this 🙏😭💕
It happens to us all! Hope this helped you get a little creative buzz back! 💛
Girl. Tell me about it. The world is so strange nowadays. On so many levels. I'm an old millenial, and even when I was growing up !not that long ago!, "loneliness" was almost a non-existant problem...maybe for old people? It's crazy. Your generation has undergone so many experiments and changes...so has mine, but at least it happened AFTER our developmental years and neuro-chem-formation. But that said, in my developmental years, toxic parenting went unquestioned, whereas 10 years later, people paused more. Parents could yell at us and attack us still, as well as teachers, just like past generations, and it was "normal". It's such a weird switch and vortex, what globalism has both afforded yet took away. You are not alone ok. There's so many of us. You're doing great...I'm inspired you're an artist! That was unthinkable in the 2000s, to go into art successfully. But now people can social-media the problem and create a life. The take and the pull of the ever-changine f'ing times. You might not want someone to "solve" your problem...but is there no wealthier artist with a studio to share with you and a couple others? It's hard to find just the right situation...but the modern world affords us fine-tweeking via the internet & social platforms. Whatever your progress in your work-life balance, thank you for making a video on this topic and sharing. Xx
❤️!!
As most people who make their products find out in fairly short order, 1/3 of your time is making, 1/3 of your time is running the business, and 1/3 is marketing. So, if you can get some help with pieces of it, that means more time making. Do you still do art fairs?
Very true! I will be looking for help very soon. I don’t do art fairs anymore since I’ve built my business in a way that I can sell online - I do miss the excitement of them, but don’t miss all the work involved in participating! 😅
I'd love to find a local art "school" or at least a situation where I can have a mentor/teacher help guide me... but I can't afford that (and I'm a full time carer)... so RUclips it is! :D But (obviously given the video I'm commenting on)... there are a lot of really talented people out there and I do find inspiration from watching others paint (and I think pick up a few tips too).
I love your brand crimp thingie... it looks very cool!
You are so very talented, in so many ways!
Thank you so much!🥰
I want to see this in a movie theater !!!!
Dear God. The filming quality and sound recording quality, light qulaity, color grading, everything here is beyond perfect. Thank you for this.
This video is so relatable. Sometimes other things take so much time that we forget what really made us happy. The joy of putting that brushstroke, getting into flow state and just be there in the present. Nature has always helped me whenever I feel a bit lost. I agree it's all about balance. Love your videos❤❤
Yes! Thank you! Nature is absolutely the #1 most grounding, inspiration-giver 🙏
Thank u for making this! It is really helpful ❤ i hope we are all can be a good artist ❤
ayoooo brooooooke, juicy strokes on the cowww!
Thank you Justasssss!
👌 and looved the painting ❤
Thank you! I appreciate it ☺️
thank you for this beautiful video.
Thank you for watching 🫶
in recognition of his fantastic sporting achievements, the swiss government gifted roger federer a cow.. an alpine cow i'm guessing.. thanks for the video :)
Haha thanks for watching! 😊
Can relate. I was too depressed so I just started making art again after 4-5 months. Just forcing myself to draw everyday now. Thank you for your videos. I love them. 🧡
Having a daily drawing practice is commendable! I need that in my life hahah thank you for watching 🫶
Muy bueno.. Es la primera vez que lo veo pero está. muy chiva. Un nuevo seguidor 🤩
Thank you! 🙏
Fab! Thank you
It's not that they haven't sold... it's that they haven't sold... yet! Would it be possible to break up your painting styles in a way that means you paint a "more sellable" painting then follow that with a more personally satisfying painting (ratios to be decided). That way you should be able to keep earning an income but also fulfill that desire to branch out with different styles etc?
I don't have all the supplies to try oil painting yet... but it seems I do have the most important supply... tea... I too drink copious amounts. (I do really need to get some linseed oil though so I can finally try oil painting... might have to look up those water mixable oils too... anything that is more eco friendly is a huge plus!).
Loved the video - creativity is contagious!
Thank you! It is 🙌
Do you have any tips on how to make the most so soft ? I'm working on a landscape with a lake in the midgroud and a treeline in the back and I want to try and make it misty😊
