Wow! Amazing. As someone who doesn't seem to be able to get his ducks in a row for more than two days running, your ability to self-learn and self-start is inspirational.
10:00 You’re adorable 🥲 Gorgeous garden, your artistic sensibilities really show. Really, great work!!!! I’m jealous of your know-how, I suppose I’ll just need to continue religiously watching your videos til the end of time. Hope your perennials come back. Pretty pretty 🌸🩷
Admittedly I know so little about gardening that I can't tell a carnation from a cactus, but I do recognize something beautiful when I see it, and your transformed balcony is certainly that! One word: stunning!😊
Mrs. Greenthumb, you're one of my favorite humans. Beautiful work. Milkweeds are great for splash of lifecycle. Also, and no judgement at all, that one there is often referred to as a miter saw...just so ya show em the business when yall decide to build your house. ☺Great for precision angle-cutting. Keep up the dreamin. It's inspiring to see.
Your garden looks gorgeous and it's making me look at my own balcony plants...they are whispering neglect as I am watching your video lol. Thank you so much for including the footage of the racoon...it made me laugh so good!
I would be so happy 2 have such a space in my apartment, you are so lucky! I got some similar space but it's a hot sunny side so only succulents can survive
If you get hummingbirds in your area, give Salvia Amistad a try next year. It gets large. Love and Wishes Salvia is also a pretty plant and doesn’t get nearly as large.
Looks great! I would like to have more plant-life on my apartment patio....instead of the dangerous pile of scrap wood and metal storage area it is now. One day.
You're an artist inside and out! Great job! And that raccoon was an absolute HOOT! Maybe I can borrow your hawk - the red squirrels here are totally out of control, eating all my bird seed from the bird feeder! I love the pale yellow coreopsis (tickseed) and I've never heard of mono lavender. Looks intriguing! Good job on the carpentry, girl. Yay, a woman with power tools! Thanks for the lovely tour! The birds and the bees (and the flowers and the trees) are all happy!
Use some 3 in 1 oil on the legs, that will have them last forever, just rub oil on them as needed, wd40 will do the same thing but better for removing the rust on them now.
our garden lol if i call it as one has lemon tree, is my favorite and the thing is people dont leave any for us or ask us before plucking them, gotta say though your plants are stolen by squirrels and ours by humans what a reversing order
I'll be honest, catching a glimpse of your balcony in one of your videos early this year inspired my vision for my own balcony garden! I'm jealous of your sun exposure because my pickings seemed pretty slim but things are looking pretty happy! I also did a dark purple salvia and impatiens, and I'm hoping my hostas will be okay over the winter (nowhere near as cold as yours will be!) I scored a beautiful planter and trellis in the dumpster so that's my newest addition and next spring I'm expanding my shade garden/corner :) This was such a lovely video, thank you for sharing!
Very nice balcony garden, some of the plants I got in my garden, even the same kind of butterfly. I shall begin making videos and show my garden too, its outside my art studio.
So, you go from capturing nature on canvas to your "Gaia" style. Every year you rebuild your space, you also design and do carpentry. Multiple talents, my appreciation for that. By the way, during these dates here in Mexico, you can see large purple expanses of cosmos, a beautiful spectacle. Great video! I just didn't see the raccoon's name in the final credits, hehehe
Brooke I LOVE your videos - they are so fun and inspiring to watch!!! ❤ You are one of my FAVORITE all time artists ever and I’m saving up so one day I can give one of your beautiful pieces a home… I am a mom to a toddler and a baby and they both LOVE the outdoors and I really would love to start a garden with them! I would love to know if you have any resources or recommendations on how to start a gardening journey!
Awe thank you so much!! That means a lot 🥹 I have been self-teaching the whole gardening thing; I would recommend Pinterest for garden inspiration (colours and design) and usually people who work at plant nurseries will be able to help you with placement! Happy gardening and thanks for watching 🤗
I also have a mint that keeps coming back, and I've just been freezing huge chunks of it in a bag so I can pop it into drinks whenever the mood strikes me. Fresh mint year round hooray!
Love your garden and wish I had the discipline to keep mine at that level! My favorite plant that I have is my fern leaf Japanese maple. Two of my friends and I spent like an hour digging the whole for it 4 yrs ago. Its leaves come in bright yellow green and then turn a bright red as summer hits. It’s small (maybe 6 ft) but it’s grown a lot this past year and is starting to get some width.

the raccoon is probably my favorite part 😭
Hahaha mine too
I wonder if some of the cherries had fermented 😊
The garden turned out beautiful. The rather portly raccoon was a hoot! ❤
The garden is simply beautiful 🌸
Love your content, and your garden, and your art, and your personality, keep being you 🤩
So sweet 🥲 thank you!!
So lovely! Gardening and art go hand in hand. The racoon was a delight as well.

You can dry the mint and save it for tea in the cold months. And drink it fresh too of course. Your plant stand was a great addition!
Great idea! I even have a food dehydrator 🙌

That makes me so happy to read 🥹 I wanna make one every year!
OMD!!! I love that racoon and but YOUR GARDEN!!! gorgeous. Your hard work paid off.
Thank you 🙏💛💛
I've never seen coco liners, that's so cool! 😮 I'm always looking to avoid plastic, that's perfect.
Yes they’re great! And the birds love them - they take little bits for their nests and it’s so cute 🥹
Love this! Empowering 🥳 and love how you talk about pollinators visiting the garden. This was fun to watch. 💛
Thanks so much! I love the pollinators, they make me so happy 🥹
You did a great job

The garden is beautiful, but you girl, you should be what we find in Oxford Dictionary looking for the word adorable. 🌸
