The Before and After reveal had me rollin'! 😂🤣 You are as entertaining as you are talented, my friend. Which is to say, very! Thank you for sharing and dropping some knowledge while brightening my day!
Hey Brooke! Your art is so beautiful! I used to paint a lot, but I got busy with college and now that I’m graduated I miss it a lot! Your artwork motivates me to start painting again! ☺️
Brooke, I’ve only watched 2 of your videos and you make me laugh, and I really needed that today!! I’m also a professional artist, mother or 4, and business owner. Your artwork is beautiful, by the way!! I wish you tons of success! Thank you for sharing your journey, and being your silly self online. You are inspiring me to show up more myself, (which is hard!). To combat loneliness I love painting live online with my members, or just losing myself in a good Netflix series that I’ve watched before, so I don’t feel the need to look at the show, but just listen to the comforting familiar voices of characters I love.
That orange and brown mixed was the perfect choice. Fog and mist picks up ambient light. And those tree's in the background are clearly reddish orange to brown. I wonder if it was instinct for her or if she took that calculation from training. Edit: Reference photos won't help with that because the shade differences are very subtle. Unless she's a Tetrachromat. But that's rare.
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I also love finger painting lol The texture is amazing, nostalgic and makes me feel more connected to the painting 🥰
You are one of the most beautiful creatures with the most gorgeous art. And watching how you act in a video makes me adoore you even more. ABSOLUT GIRL CRUSH 😍 I hope you publish art courses some day. Your art is some of my favorites out there ❤
I love your art so much Brooke! You don’t know how stoked I was to find you on RUclips! Hearing your voice rather than just watching you through reels makes me feel so much more connected with your art🖤🥀
Another great video, entertaining and illustrative. It's always valuable when great artists share their knowledge, thank you! by the way in the "before" and "after" part I was forced to drink a martini and dress in a tuxedo😂
Thanks for the beautiful art and a laugh!! Interested to see if I can carry this scumbling technique into watercolor painting. Hoping there's going to be a full on finger painting demo soon 😁
I use spike lavender oil with my traditional oil paints instead of toxic solvents. I balked at the price, but a little goes a long way and it is so relaxing. I sleep great if I paint in the evening now. The Art Treehouse has decent prices.
I did learn something... in addition to how to paint sexy mist, I learned all about what a loveable goofball you are, and I mean that as the highest compliment. Subscribed!
Thanks for sharing, beautiful painting, where would you recommend getting good photos for references to paint, I find using a reference helps but don’t know where to get them , appreciate it
Thank you! I think finding good reference photos all depends on what you're interested in painting! I love to paint nature so going out in the forest or on the lake gives me lots of inspiration :)
Hi! First of all, you’re an amazing artist and I totally love your style 🧡, I’m also an artist, tho I’m just at the beginning trying to start my career, your videos really help and motivate me to not give up ☺️, I was wondering whether you could make a video like how did you get out there, simply how to get noticed by people, because this is a part I kinda struggle with at the moment (even tho I actually study marketing xd), anyway it’s just an idea and keep up the great work and have a beautiful day ✨ ^^
Thanks so much! I'm glad you're finding my videos helpful ☺ I have a video called "how I became a full-time artist (painting for over 5 years!)" which I think might answer some of these questions! You can find it here: ruclips.net/video/7YRP3VWzPF4/видео.html Hope that helps and all the best on your artistic journey! 🤗
I reaaaally like your videos! You're so funny!!! And SO helpful!! I follow you on Instagram too. You are very inspiring to me and my paintings. I'm also Canadian (Québec) would love to meet you at an art fair/symposium someday!
I love your energy and art❤
Just what I was looking for!

Hi Brooke, I love your work,💞, can you tell my the brushes you mostly use with your paintings and where to get them? 🤗
Thanks for sharing, beautiful painting, where would you recommend getting good photos for references to paint, I find using a reference helps but don’t know where to get them , appreciate it

is this technique applicable to acrylic water based?
The way you said 'about' i am assuming you are Canadian? Amazing art!!!
Yes I am Canadian haha, and thank you!!
Amazing😍. Question- is the paint below the mist fully dry?
Thank you!! And yes, the layers beneath are completely try before I start painting the mist ☺
