Just about to wrap up my first playthrough of Cyber Sleuth, looking forward to starting HM next! Just need to finish collecting the rest of the medals and complete the last offline colosseum, then I'll have the platinum. Hopefully we get a new Digimon game soon! Wasn't really a huge fan of Survive. Great video btw!

One thing that got glossed over is the status effect DOT. While it's annoying to be inflicted by it unless it's the DLC or Complete edition sets of actual Dot Mega's, it's a nice touch from the artist and development team to make sprite work for every single digimon in the game to match their original tamagatchi days

I want to try when it first release in ps vita but too expensive for me when 14 and my parents say no, have a chance to play when it got port to pc with complete edition and i got into Digimon since there, never expect Digimon game will have great story but not just story good gameplay is very fun to play

Uhh...I don't like the character designs / visuals...why do all characters have to be so "wobbly" these days? It would have been better if the characters were static during the dialogue scenes because the "movement" together with the sexualized outfits looks very cringey...I vastly prefer the style of the Persona characters.

I’m playing hackers memory before cyber sleuth. And one more thing, so I need to turn the game to hard mode to not be too easy but wouldn’t that make the game too hard???

I learned today that a Fuga 2 exists, plus I do get why the first is obscure, the game punishes you unless you do an optimal playthrough. And I don't think I'm alone on this one, who loves to restart from scratch a playthrough?...

I 100% both the fuga games...they're great and have decent mechanics :-) I kinda felt guilty when I had to kill the kids to get one of the achievements in the first game but did wonder how you were gonna play the 2nd one with everyone dead :-/

I bought it on the launch to support it (finished the first game), but it's true that I still have to really play it.

I played it and I cried, the first half of Fuuga was heartwrenching, i felt the stress when the kids got sucked into the cannon, espicially when you fight the kidnapped ones on the taranis before reclaiming it, the shouts they do when you hit. Oh my heart, I love these kiddos I dont wanna hurt them ;__;

I've been seeing a lot of promoted ads for this game on reddit but I just scroll past them because I thought it was another mobile game until I saw Switch. Now I'm watching this review and I just ordered the game. This is great!

As someone who is playing through the original Final Fantasy Tactics for the first time, this gameplay looks so bare bones for a tactical game that came out in the 2020s, but considering how I everyone I’ve listened to or talked has said that the writing and story and characters more than make up for that, I’m excited nonetheless to dive into it

God I can’t wait for a new Digimon game. I still have to play Survive too.

From what I’ve seen from the Cyber Sleuth videos and this one Cybersleuth and Survive are two sides of the same dark coin, Cyber sleuth seems to have mediocre stories with some really good gameplay, while Survive has really good stories with some mediocre gameplay

First time I went into this, I did not get very far, I’m gearing to go back and actually play through to see how my experience with it is cause I have very little Digimon experience

Disclaimer: The below comment is intended to inform not tell people how to play, considering certain story bosses scale with stats makes it a bit redundant, but this is for the players that want to see everything the game has to offer without feeling like they're waiting on a respawn. To those discovering this video late, I'd just like to touch on one aspect of the "Time" criticism for respawns. That being that time in this game (meaning: Respawn, training points etc) are all based on activity and not actual time. Leviatain is slow to respawn true, but time progresses by picking up stuff and fighting enemies. The tougher and slower respawning enemies/items fill the time gauge more. There are numerous enemies you technically only need to fight once to get everything you need from them, but fight them again and you'll find ingame time passing super fast. (Drakes 'AKA' lesser dragons, Rhinos and Lava monsters are all great for causing time to pass and you can respawn bosses almost instantly, if you then take down the bosses you now have 5 training points, using those also passes time so now the initial set of enemies you used to reduce the respawn time is back up...) This allows for a full farm run to take less than 10 minutes if you're powerful enough. Which you should be if you're doing full farm runs. It's not necesarily ideal but I can't think of a better way to handle it. Edit: Adding to fighting those monsters again even if you've got the crafting ingredients you needed from them. All those ingredients sell for a fair bit and gold can be tight if trying to buy every item in every store you gain access to. Double Edit: This actually ends up almost giving too many training points as I constantly ran into the problem of reaching the limit of 5 and thus not getting full benefits.

"There's no reason to not use the form that's the strongest, in my experience." You say, while LITERALLY SHOWING THE DIGIMON IT'S BEST TO NOT USE THE STRONGEST FORM OF. Crowmon has the highest movement and lets you double-move. His higher evolution loses both those things. If you have a battle where you need a digimon at a certain point soonest, Crowmon is you best option.

One thing if you don't know already, you can make things respawn faster in two ways, one is picking up items, two is fighting enemies. The stronger the enemy the more it reduces the timer, and the timers are global so you can fight enemies in the swamp and then go back to the place you were waiting for. Also note that the timer only goes down visually when changing areas, this also means enemies won't respawn in front of you
