The first trip to Klipvoor dam for Barend and Andre was not what was hoped for. After a challenging day of fishing and an unpleasant encounter with the reserve rangers, they drove back home early the next morning. Regardless of the inconvenient encounter, time spent fishing is time well spent! Great waters with great potential. Dynamic Angling will be back!

Hi Piet, Sovêr ons weet is daar karp, moddervis, baber, geelvis. Mens vang gewoontlik mooi karps naby die ingang van die natuur reservaat en daar naby die inloop se kant. Die pan is baie vlak op party plekke, mens loop maklik 200m in en dan is die water half lyf.

Hi GMan, ons het eenkeer ñ baie goeie voorbeeld gesien tussen maroek en fyn mielies. Ons het maroek gebruik en het klomp kurpers gevang, na ons maroek klaar is het ons weer mielies gebruik. Die kurper het op hou byt sodra die maroek weg is en toe het die karpe begin byt. Ons afleiding is: maroek is beter vir kurper hengel en mielies vir karp. Mens kan steeds karp vang met die maroek alhoewel mielies beter sal werk vir die karp. Die was by ñ plaas dam en dit kan verskil van dam tot dam. Mens sal self jou eie experiment moet opstel en sodra jy ñ patroon begin raak sien in die gedrag van die vis, dan weet jy wat om te begin doen. 😄

Regtig cool hoe jy altyd seker maak die vis suffer nie te lank nie, Barend. Hoor altyd hoe jy sê " hy het sy deel gedoen" dan weet ek dis tyd om daai ou terug in die water te kry! Hi Kevesh, we can't say what the other brands do to make their dips. However, this recipe comes from a well-known fishing book, with lots of different combinations and explanations... it forms the base of most mixes.
