So far we've not had any mammalian "thieves" in our garden. We put urine down around the perimeter and it is still effective, at this time. That is the advantage of composting toilets with a separators!

You've shot some really gorgeous footage (as always...)! I especially like the views of the white birch (or something from that family) that one sees in Russia and Scandinavian countries, as I grew up with similar trees, here in the northeast of the USA.

Free Range Organic chicken eggs are € 6.50 in my grocery store, @&%#, but worth it unfortunately. I also don't spray and eradicate the broadleaf weeds from my grassy yard. Thus, the wild rabbits are happy and numerous.

Hi Camilla, I am planning a family trip to see the brown bears. I think you drive a regular car to the park and stay in the cabin for the night right? May I ask do you need to pay for the bear observation cabin separately at the national park? If so, how much is it?

It is many years since I have seen whitewashing done to a barn/coop. I just now read up on it (to refresh my memory) and it certainly is a very good practice! I have lived decades away from farms (since my childhood) so I didn't know whether white washing is still being done.

Nice to hear the Finnish language. In New Mexico, USA. wild quelites grow, and you can saute them. They do not sting like nettles. In the old days, people foraged for them and they taste like spinach. Very nutritious. I grow in containers.

Lol we have so many similarities in our lives at the moment. I just had a big reparation on the car and also have been thinking that it might have been a better idea to have the channel in Finnish than in english, because that way it might be easier to get susbscribers in Finland. On top of this I am also looking into hetting a better camera and have a tractor wheel planter on my property. 😄
