I am a grown woman who has lived with Splatoon a lot of my childhood (still insane the franchise has been around since I’ve been in elementary school) and I have to say, it has really helped me adapt as I learned a few years ago I developed a stress triggered seizure disorder which forced me to learn to control my anger. Finally getting Splatoon 3 after 2 years of its release (I missed the grand fest 😢) and it worked as a final test which I passed with flying colours! Safe to say that I will always love this franchise :)

So I’m a bit late to make a comment on the video but like 2 years ago I just moved on from the game series because I was a kid and my parents actually knew age ratings so yeah, this is basically only shooter. I played for like a good chunk of my life and eventually my brother convinced me to buy the valve complete pack because it was a collection of a bunch of really good games for an insanely low price, so it was easy for me to convince my parents I’m not gonna play it now but holy s**t is that a good deal and then after some time of having it, I decided to create a alternative account and use steam family sharing to play the valve games and it was such a breath of fresh air to finally play something that was grounded in reality and something that actually told me, yeah, you are actually killing things so I play the original half life and just never looked back now I’m basically in the exact same situation. I’ve just been playing these mature games because I’m old enough that my parents just don’t give a s**t anymore and I just need some variety so I am going to mention this from the secret ending of the video game Trepang2 scroll down if you want to see it “welcome back six we’re not done with you yet”

I would love to play Splatoon, but I just do not care to play on controller. I actually really like everything you mentioned about it. I just wish Nintendo would do PC releases. I love Nintendo, but I had a Switch and I sold it because I hated playing it, even though the library was great.

i love splatoon but i cant find the drive to play it, since i have to 1. load up my switch 2. pay for online 3. use a controller to aim (with gyro), if it was on pc id play it so much i think it has so much character to it i just cant get behind playing it on a console

Personally splatoon is the sole game that made me consider getting a console many many times Normally I'm a pc-only gamer but splatoon is the only series that tempts me to get a console. Sadly, knowing Nintendo, chances of it ever getting a pc release is near 0
