- splatoon 3 has a LOT of weapons, over 100! but out of all of them in the game, which are the most and least popular? does it correlate to the best and worst weapons?

I personally main Dualie Squelchers in Turf War (though I generally play Salmon Run), since I prefer the high fire rate & range so I don't have to worry about accuracy as much. Wavebreaker is nice support as well, especially since I can plop it down & just let it do its thing.
I also just love spamming dodge rolls in a pinch. I'll gladly take away a couple seconds from someone trying to kill me if I'm certain I'm gonna die. Or maybe I can get a reversal :P
i use dualie squelchers a ton as well, but the painting is super inconsistent so i main enperry dualies

I main Charger (and play other backline weapons as well), but I want to see Stringer or Splatling as dominant class.
Eliter is probably top 5 cuz people wanna hit those clips on tho causuals

I play pretty much whatever I got in my arsenal. But I do have specific mains for certain modes. Turf is pretty much always V-Jr, Zones is a mix of Gold Spray, T-tek, and Reef-Lux, Rain is Tri Nouveau, Tower is V-Wiper with a shit load of QR, and Clams is either Inkbrush Nouveau or 96 Deco
This is why the actual meta is hell
I don’t understand why everyone hates the rollers, the carbon roller deco is literally amazing.
As a 5 star eliter (both), reflux, nautilus, carbon, z+f splatter, AND sqiffer mains im sad to see the shooters dominating the game currently, but then again backliners are harder to play
I love splat dualies and all the chargers (except scopes) personally and I wish they were picked more competitively but they are a harder class to get into or something idk the actual reason why they arent picked as much as shooters

Lets be honest, all time data for turf was bound to have jr somewhere in the top 5. We all start with jr and turf, and that adds up because there are so many players.
I personally think cause shooters are such good all around weapons people generally gravitate towards those cause they rather get better at a weapon thats good at everything not just one thing that and shooters are fun but I can think of several other weapons that are better than the top spots but it makes sense seeing shooters at the top but they don't dominate the game and in my opinion are in a really healthy spot right now
This tbh. it makes sense for shooters to consistently be at the top because they're essentially the baseline from which all other weapons draw their strengths and weaknesses from and thus will always fundamentally be the most consistently useful on all maps and objectives whilst other weapons hold more extreme advantages in different situations but also have some unfavourable matchups as a result

Waiting for the day that wiper becomes more popular so I'm not the only one in my friend group that mains it
To me it seems mode dependent, as someone who has all 110 1 stars all gained through turf war (it was hell) here’s just my takes that might go against the data.
Turf: Gold Aerospray
Zones: Bloblober? (For some reason I always find them)
Clams: Inkbrush
Tower: Clash Blaster
Rainmaker: Can’t pin one
For ranked modes I am in S-Rank (700ish power)
Recently picked up cblaster
Brellas could be insanely fun but the shield only works on the tents. This game is so much wonkier than the previous game. I don’t understand how Nintendo managed to do that.
i would love to see really any dualie be meta again... tetras were pretty popular for a bit but now they've kinda fallen off... maybe the new dualie will be good tho!!!
I main Enperry Splat Dualies. I saw soo many so I think end of this season is enperry dominating.
The weapon I main is either the Sploosh or the S blast 91

As a splatling main, i think splatlings are just better shooters as a main weapon (ballpoint, nautilus, heavy/heavy edit) but thats just me
Yeah but the charge time can be exploited and they dont get the same treatment from Nintendo as shooters
Like almost all of the top tiers are shooters because they didnt bother to nerf them and gave them insane kits, where as vmini got a points for special nerf for literally no reason
I definitely agree with saying Nautilus and ballpoint are a lot better than most of the shooters as main weapons but heavy and heavy edit are still very easy to abuse their slower charge times

I main the dapple dualie nouveau. A lot of people hate reefslider but I love it and think it’s very fun! I love any dualie so imma say I main the dualie class. Dualie players rise up!
It just makes no sense that a weapon at the start of the game is the most overpowered thing

as someone who refuses to use shooters, the shooter bias pains me (the only shooter adjacent class i play are dualies.)
It's not a bias, it's just that shooters are easy to use
