Looking amazing! I was looking into the same stereo upgrade as well, but I was wondering what amp did you install to get those 6.5" speakers to work? There's no way the Kenwood head unit can support those speakers right?

Happens a lot. Even on back roads where there is nobody else around. I try to let them know they are a bit close. RoadReality raises his camera and lets them know they are on film. That seems to work. haha I leave plenty of room if I am in my car and behind a bike. Unfortunatly if I am on the highway, people use it as a place they can pull into. Great video. I did see your comment on my last one. Had to go through the tube buddy app to see it though. So weird.
I honestly don’t run my cameras enough to do what John does. But even at that I’m not sure that’ll help. I’m glad to hear that you at least saw my comment, weird thing is that I only found this comment on the Tube Buddy app as well. This shit is getting frustrating. Thanks for watching Mike!
I've noticed in real life and also in crash videos that drivers seem to do whatever they think is right regardless of outcome and get upset when things don't go their way. Its the main character syndrome. Its everywhere unfortunately. Defensive driving has never been more important.

Tailgating IS getting worse. Drivers are getting more impatient, passing on double yellows, the whole 9 yards. It's a freakin' shame that people are so damned self-centered that they can't be bothered to give 2 s**ts about anyone around them. I try to slow down a bit and give a bigger bubble in front if I have someone riding my a**. I did a video on it last year, but having a GoPro aimed back that you can go "up periscope" with... definitely gets their attention and gets 'em to back off.

@@GoofyBastard Yeah, some days I don't commute on the bike. I'll get a wonky feeling and I'm like, "nope, not worth it". It's also why I snake up the back roads to get home when I'm on the bike. Much more peaceful. I haven't seen a comment from you in a while... and I check my hidden comments. Not sure what's going on :(

I've noticed people are driving like they are in a NASCAR race. Tailgating, crossing 3-4 lanes in one move. Election year crazy. If I'm in my car and I see a bike I do my best to watch out for them. Play blocker on the highway. We need to take care of each other when we can. Stay safe. ✌️

I tend to go faster than the traffic around me. Not excessively fast, but fast enough to keep my distance from tailgaters. In the world of smart phones that have made people stupid, I am more concerned of getting hit by a distracted driver than a drunk or impaired driver. I am not invisible, but most drivers do not actively look for motorcycles, which is why they never see us. Take care, ride safe.
@@PaulsMotoZen motorcycle awareness should be a part of the process when people get their license. If I’m able to ride faster than the people behind me I will, but being on the 2 lane roads most of the time I am not able to do that a lot. It’s sad that people are so unaware. Thanks for watching

People just don’t get it, they have no idea how dangerous it is to tailgate. As riders, we’re so much more aware of just how stupid people are on the road. I wish I knew how to make it stop!! Road Rage is thing, but I too will signal folks to back off, it rarely works. If it’s real bad, I pull over, and point at my cameras….

Definitely better out here where there's more space, but on the east coast it was TERRIBLE. Bad in FL too, I think since so many people ride and it's like the wild west down there they think "oh I know how to get close and they'll be fine" and they don't think about how you have no idea who and what TF they're doing

I have adaptive cruise on the Kenworth I drive. It tells me the speed of the vehicle in front of me. Last week someone passed me in a dodge magnum station wagon doing 110 in a 70 mph zone.

We just don't get too much of that here, especially tail gating which is a form of "pre meditated murder" LOL I don't use my motorcycle for work or errands which keeps me out of traffic areas, I am usually on it for pleasure so out of city within 20 minutes and into country and urban scenic riding.... but ya, I have heard that it happens. Canadians eh... LOL we just too polite. Not that I haven't seen crazy drivers just more so in my car then on my motorcycle. We do become complacent in our vehicles and we just are all in a rush and not paying attention. I tap my brakes, I don't have flasher, I stay aware and tap when I need to. STAY safe, good topic!!
@@HarleyGurl114 unfortunately most of my riding is done to commute back and forth. The worst part is I get all these people tailgating me and I am going against traffic both ways. I think we spent a couple years with minimal traffic, and now people just don't have patience. Everyone is in a rush and way to much traffic. I do think a lot of people are using the adapttive cruise on local roads. Its leaves big gaps in traffic, and they gets people fired up. Like you I'm just looking for a reason, making stuff up in my head. Ride safe.
@@MinnowMoto as much as Covid year sucked…it was awesome for riding cause there wasn’t anyone on the road. The roads I ride on(during my commute) are only 35-45 mph roads so the adaptive thing doesn’t even come into play. Thanks for watching!!

Here in Southern Az is more relaxed in a sense cause theres a lot of bikes on the road so people keep their distance from bikes. Dont take me wrong there’s still “these” people around…

@@GoofyBastard I believe that the bigger or living closer to big cities is a huge factor of people dealing with stress or a condition as I call it: “ Me first”..! And right now you dont wanna be anywhere close to outside… Monsoons and heat are not ideal for any riding… give it another month and everything cools down…
Agreed, happening more and more, seems to be reginal, Florida is bad about it, we haul ass here in Texas, I've been doing 15 MPH over the limit and get passed like I was doing 15 MPH under.

Also, that gage thing is crap. The S round type with tach is much better. I bet Harley paid no more than $30 to get that silly little gage system made by some(Chinese) supplier. I don't care what others think, I think that thing is cheap cheap cheap. They use it on many other models.
I wasn’t a huge fan of the gauge at first. It has grown on me over time though. While I do like the looks of the round gauges…and really like the double gauge look. That would be at the bottom of my list for upgrades. There are far more important things to me to do to the bike.
It is nice. But the first thing I'd get rid of besides the exhaust is the bags...not enough room I got a '23 FXLRS instead of the ST. I Enjoy paying $3K less for essentially the same thing w/o bags and fairing. I'll put some leatherpros and Memphis shades on the S along with the other $5K of stuff I'd add to either one and I'll be happy(I hope). I was very tempted by the ST but was quite aware that the HD dealer would jam it to me if I chose it. BTW, you never get any of those bikes at MSRP...you get tricked and bamboozled by the finance guy/gal whatever. MSRP means zip...You signature commits you. There is no shortage of those things now so all I can say is don't be a sucker...think before you sign.
You are right…the LowRider S is essentially the same bike without the bags and fairing, but for me, I wanted those things that’s why I chose the ST. The way I utilize the bags, the clamshells work for me. I’ve never had an issue with fitting whatever I needed to fit in there. I do understand that the leather pros are bigger but IMO the are not aesthetically pleasing. I didn’t have to talk to the finance guy or sign any of that finance paperwork. Thanks for watching

Late afternoon for me. Because of the deer I don't really like that early morning riding, hit one in my truck two weeks ago.

Yeah...I like to ride on an early spring morning when it's nice and cool and no other vehicles are on the road. When we are home, we would leave around 7 a.m. on Saturday or Sunday. By the time the rest of everyone else is heading out, we are at or close to our destination.
The early morning rides are really nice. You really do t have to worry about the people being out on the road with you. And you are absolutely correct, so are already at or close to your destination by the time the rest of the world gets out. Thanks for watching!!
Since I'm up every day at 5, I do enjoy the mornings. Even on longer trips I leave early and have time to look around when I get there.
