Happy thanks giving Goofy. It isn’t something we do in the UK, but to me it makes more sense than Christmas.
Modern bikes seem to drain the battery when stood for any length of time. Unless I’m using a bike daily I leave them on a battery tender.

Happy Thanksgiving to you too. Got out and rode Wednesday and Thursday. I have alway keep ours on battery tender . Can get over 5 + years out of battery .

Good on ya for gettin' a charger - I didn't need one outside of true winter until I got my Street Glide... all of a sudden, I got chargers EVERYWHERE!
Hope you Turkey day was a good one!! The only time I had to use a charger was when I had to buy a new battery…other than that never put any of my other bikes on one. With the Harley everyone says make sure you keep it on a trickle charger. Thanks for watching
@@GoofyBastard It was a good one, thanks! And those people talking about Harleys+chargers... they're right. First cold snap = no start on my Glide. My Vaquero never had that problem. It's all the electronics! Synthetic oil helps too, FYI.

I have a trickle charger, don’t use it too often though. If I haven’t been on the bikes for a week, and am not going to ride for a few more days, I’ll plug them in.
On all my previous bikes I have never used one and have had great luck with battery life. But I guess it’s better to have one and use it!!
