Hey Dude, come on down to Weatherford, Tx where we have a fantastic riding group that will welcome you and your Vaquero. I have a 2017 as well. You won’t be able to ride everyday, but every month is a no brainer! You can even still cheer the Eagles on! Plenty of truck drivers are needed everywhere, so head down here. Our population is 25K+, so it’s a friendly town and Ft. Worth is 18 miles east. Hope to see you in the future!🎉😊
We have been talking about moving south for awhile, the only reason we haven’t done it yet is due to family. All the family is in this area. I don’t watch football so that wouldn’t be an issue. I cannot stand the cold either, but ive just got to ride no matter the season, even if it's just a 10 minute ride.
Even doing a 10-15 minute ride takes that edge off from not being on the bike. I probably could’ve gotten out under better conditions earlier in December but it just didn’t work out. Thanks for watching Bob… hope your Christmas was merry….Happy New Year!!!

Well technically I had some heated gear on. I have a heated sweatshirt I use for work.
I’m right there with you on the cold weather. I hate it frankly. I finally bought some heated gloves with rechargeable batteries so I can ride some when it’s cooler.
I haven’t gone that far yet. I did get the hand guards last year to help keep the wind off my hands. I might have to go that way with heated gloves. Thanks for watching and stay safe

I too am keeping the streak alive. I already rode this month and expect to get another ride in before January as well as a few rides in during January. i live in the Harrisburg area of Pa.

I have the hotwired heated gear. Previous years I road down to upper 20's but this year I just have had 0 interest. There's a reason I heat with wood, I HATE the cold and the older I get the more I hate it.

@@GoofyBastard Thanks man! - same to you & yours! I never used to ride in the cold either, until I had my Vaquero - 4 months in, I went out after dark in December, 28F, got home 6 hours and over 100 miles of riding later, it was 25. That was COLD.

@@GoofyBastard Dude, I was SO excited to finally have a Bagger, I rode that thing as much as possible. Got heated gloves and a balaclava for the cold weather riding, and it was GLORIOUS! Then, all that excitement transferred directly into the Harley when I got it, and I ride it even MORE than I did the Vaquero :D
I do understand what you mean. I definitely ride the Vaquero more than I rode my Meanstreak. I hated having to carry a backpack, so I would only commute every once in a while
