What does the tongue exercise do? It’s curious as this is a Maori custom.
The tongue out and down with an exhale detoxifies the body of negative emotions or stuck energy. I guess it is quite different than the Moari traditions

If you are a beginner to Kriya hold each pose a shorter time than what I offer in the video. If you have been doing Kriya for a long time you can hold the poses much longer than what I show. Great practice! There were a few movements that I havent tried before. One of them revealed a very tight part of my traps I wasnt aware of. Im going to be doing that stretch consistently and see how it changes my neck tension. Thank you 🙏

Sure, here is the revised text: That's an excellent question. Kriya involves intense breath work that generates heat and fire within your system, while Qigong is more fluid, like water, which has a calming and cooling effect. Each person's needs are different, just as one person may thrive on a diet of only fruit while another could become unwell. I have first-hand experience of this because I used to did a lot of Kriya daily for about a year which caused my system to become overheated and negatively impacted my health. I have friends that thrive on lots of Kriya with only positive results. Personally now, I balance my routine with Kriya, Qigong, and Yoga to maintain a healthier equilibrium.

Btw Guruji had asked todo Sheetali pranayam along with the pranayam and Kriya! Now I understand why he said Sheetali pranayam! I guess the cold weather compensates for the heat by Kriya for me enough to sustain harmoniously and I just do the diamond once along with body tapping and few stretches ! Btw it could help if u can come out with other Kriyas which Guruji has not mentioned in his RUclips videos
