I miss the moon drops game. Why can't we get official RPG based, adventure based or even fighting style games of Sailor Moon in US? I want a full SM game!! I would love a spin off showing Chibi Usa and her team. Usagi and the girls are retired and we see a new generation of senshi. A spinoff with the Silver Millennium and how it began would be awesome.

What about a Toei Animated Universe?

Here is a few spinioff ideas I know will never get made. Sailor Mercury's original Boyfriend from Season 1 of the 90s Anime. What happened to him???? Dragon Ball x Sailor Moon Crossover. Of course we all know the history behind that. Sailor Moon and her friends get Isekai to Caveman era and the Sailor Guardians become Cavebabes.

Sailor Moon spinoffs. Sailor V will be most possible as a origin story of Sailor Venus before she arrived to the Sailor Guardians. Chibiusa and the Amazoness Quartet would be a really interesting spinoff as well as Sailor Saturn joining them. A isekai adventure of Usagi's shota Brother where he gets transported into another world with harem of Magical Warriors.

Now, I saw a video by Noralities about the concept of a Sailor Moon Space Opera where it takes place in the future where Usagi and the rest of the sailor guardians are put into different teams to rebuild and repair lost planets or homes that were destroyed from The Sailor Wars while Usagi and Mamoru are starting to build their Crystal Tokyo on Earth. Mercury and Venus were teamed up with Ail and An (from the first arc in Sailor Moon R), Venus was teamed up with The Amazon Trio, Mars was teamed up with Luna and The Sailor Animamates, and Chibiusa was teamed up with Helios, Saturn, and even Nehelenia (now as a child). This team up was meant to bring more character into the sailor senshi and the now reformed villains because it didn't feel like they got much of that in the original series. I often feel open to the idea of the sailor guardians as Neo Sailor Guardians now protecting Crystal Tokyo from threats, but then again you can use Chibiusa for that along with the Sailor Quartet. These are fun ideas, though.🌜🌹❤

Realistically there are only 3 ways a continuation can work and could be successful. 1 spin off or 2 continuation. Imo this side characters, like Mamoru's 4 guardians, Luna & Artemis, all the really small characters like Motoki, Naru etc or even just 1 of the inner guardians or outer guardians can't work successful unfortunately. So realistically if it would happen is 1. Chibiusa spin off - for me personally this is the most viable but the worst on, because Chibiusa is the worst character Naoko created, I wish I could erase her from all Sailor Moon Media but it is what it is. But yes it makes sense she could get a spin off with the Quartet and Saturn. 2. The one that I'm in the middle about is continue the story 1000 years in the future in crystal Tokyo and see where it can go with a brand new villan, could be interesting and we can have all our favorite 9 sailors back in action. 3. Obviously just a normal continuation from where it ended, maybe few years later in the normal time line, this is the one I'm more excited about tbh. I basically just want more "normal" Sailor Moon story. No future no past no side story or side characters story focused. But that's just me and my 30+ years wish for this franchise. Still my favorite anime and most likely will be for ever.

One possible spin off that could be neat is a V series. Yes, an adaptation of the Sailor V manga would be nice, but I’m talking new material here. We know what happened to Minako at first, but what about the stuff after that. She had adventures with Interpol and a solo hero career. In the original anime she apparently was foiling the Dark Kingdom’s plans over in England along with some regular crime fighting. I wanna see that. Or another thing that could be interesting is to try and see what is actually usable from the SNES RPG. I mean some of that stuff was lame or just lazy filler, but there was some incredibly interesting ideas in there too. Like the temptations presented to Minako and Makoto. Usagi traveling back in time and getting a brief chance to talk to Beryl and Serenity before everything went down. Sin’s grudge against Neo-Serenity and Diamande being great enough to outright deny the attempt to cleanse her with the Silver Crystal, and proving to be stronger with the forces of darkness than even the intergalactic monster that gave it to her. Sin’s brother being revealed to have natural strength in time magic nearly on the level of Pluto (which combined with him also having green hair raises a few potential headcanons). This story has a lot one could work with… albeit after giving it a few passes to iron out the details and issues.

Agree! I wish they would expand the Sailor Moon story!!!! I’ve been a fan since ‘95….and I wish they would give us new stories. What’s going on in Crystal Tokyo? I’d also throw in a prequel with Sailor V, and perhaps Sailor Neptune since we know they both awakened early on.

My idea to have the soldiers ruling their respective planets and areas. They mostly stay on the moon as Serena’s court but look the same. Rini is on earth with her team and the scouts have a new generation based on the zodiac.

I really want more stuff about the other senshi: Mercury mars Jupiter and Venus has sooo much story potential that was never tapped into neither in the manga nor in the 90s anime. I want to see them achieve their dreams besides being sailors. I want to see Minako becoming an idol, I want to see Ami becoming a doctor, I want to see Mako finding a boyfriend and having her own coffeeshop, I want to see Mars being a shrine maiden/career woman whatever her dream is, and I want to see the girls supporting each other throughout this whole thing

And they end up winning there is a new competitor that's going to be a challenge to Pokemon. I like you said. Pokemon needs to make his characters. If palworld win they might end up doing that if palworld is a big challenge to them.

I am so so grateful for all the 200 episodes plus movies Viz Media translated. I now realize how the DIC was so so censored it's true I feel robbed. But now my childhood is healing as I get to hear it for what it is and it's amazing. Voice actors are so important. I will say tho ... The DIC soundtrack for the t.v show slaps I have both albums and "the power of love " and "my only love" are still a staple in my house . Well I do wanna see Sailor Cosmos battle Chaos in the future and since she resigned herself to not be a coward anymore. And Sailor Chibimoon since Usagi/Serena is going to be Sailor Cosmos shouldn't Chibiusa be the new Sailormoon? I want those stories told.

A prequel detailing the downfall of the Silver Millennium sounds like an excellent idea to form a story around. Plus, a bunch of exoplanets and Kuiper Belt objects have received proper names that could inspire new guardians both friend and foe. However, execution can make or break any project that expands on Sailor Moon's core story. We all know what happened to fan perception of Star Wars with its prequel trilogy by George Lucas and sequel trilogy by Disney.

As far as Sailor Moon getting new video game spinoffs or adaptations, I feel that remaking and possibly expanding on the SNES RPG is the best first step. If that is successful, then you could see more games made like a new fighting game or a beat 'em up remaster.

You could probably through this into the “expand on the Stars arc” concept but I’d love an expansion for the Starlights and their time on Kinmoku and maybe leading up to their planet being destroyed by galaxia and then even them going to earth and becoming idols

Would be neat to have a Sailor Moon slice of life where it's just the girls being buds and chilling. Maybe learn more about each of the character's lives. I prefer if it was based on Crystal/Eternal/Cosmos because at least with that Sailor Uranus and Neptune would be friendlier. The old anime version of those two were insufferable but in the reboot/original manga they were chilled and would have loved to see Michiru interacting more with Mina and her airheadedness! XD

I’d like it if there were new Sailor Moon games (with original stories), or if at least the old games could be translated and ported to newer consoles. I also really wish that Jun Planning would re-release the Sailor Moon pullip dolls again. I bought Sailor Uranus back when they first came out, but missed out on Neptune. 😢 These days people want at least $300 for the Neptune doll online.

Yeah I found some of those comments on the Should SM continue video so weird. Some fans will take absolute ownership over something they didn't even work on and then attack people who have different opinions. It's just funny because I feel like it makes them look pretty bad.

This was a really great topic to talk about- I would absolutely love to see Sailor Moon Spin-Offs for the Sailor Moon series to continue on the series because I honestly feel like there are so many stuff that needs to be concluded as well as answered as they were introduced throughout some parts of Sailor Moon. My top 5 Spin-Off picks: 1. A spin-off possibly a sequel that focuses on Chibiusa becoming the next Sailor Moon as she alongside Saturn and the Sailor Quartet protect Crystal Tokyo and the universe from a brand new evil force. 2. A Chibi Chibi/ Sailor Cosmos spin-off as we get to learn more about Sailor Cosmos and her future- at least see how Cosmos becomes the first Sailor Cosmos and also see her own Sailor Team and how she becomes the most powerful Guardian leading up to her fight against Sailor Chaos. 3. A prequel of the Silver Millennium era that focuses on the romance of Serenity x Endymion but also focuses on the 4 Inners & the Shitennou on their romances (We also deserve to see the backstory of their romances too as we know they got together just like Serenity & Endymion). 4. Queen Serenity's journey of being a Sailor Guardian with her own Sailor Team possibly with the past Guardian mothers of the Sailor Team leading to the rise of Silver Millennium and Sereniity becoming queen. 5. Also Sailor Starlights as I would love to know about how the 3 Starlights become besties and Guardians to protect Kakyuu and we learn more on everyone's pasts, plus also see the future with the Starlights rebuilding their hometown following the final battle. I also would love to see Parallel Sailor Moon get animated as well as I love that story too, these are my top 5 Spin-Off picks for Sailor Moon if they do make a sequel and I really really hope they do, I love Sailor Moon so much and I want more!!!

I’d love a spinoff about the silver millennium

I would love to see three spin-offs, one about the past lives during the Silver Millennium and the future Crystal Tokyo, and the far future where Sailor Cosmos fought Chaos (though this can be part of the future Crystal Tokyo, though I don't know how far in the future). I think by expanding on the characters' lives in their past and future would be interesting because it would probably answer some unanswered questions. I want to see more of the lives of the Sailor Guardians.

As far as spinoffs our concern for some of the sailor guardians of Sailor Moon I believe there was one that technically had a spin off it was only a short one and that was Uranus and Neptune which technically is kind of like a filler episode on how they return for the super S series. And I do remember both Venus and mercury also had one shot spinoffs, but like Uranus & Neptune it was like a filler episode or special. If I had to make an original anime sailor moon I would have a remake of the Makai tree arc and have it where Ann, Alan & Fiore are the main antagonist for the sailors to confront, however have it where the main threat is the Xenoflower is manipulating into conquering the world.

So this is all just speculation and assumptions. However, considering the deviations the OG anime took, how she had a hard time collaborating with the people working on it (IDK about crystal tho but Toei is a mess.) So with that in mind, she may just be burnt out on trying to get her themes/narratives/overall story out how SHE wants them told, when doing any collab that tells a story (anime/games/manga.) I LOVE the OG anime, but compared to the manga it's basically an AU; Crystal didn't get a handle on the art until the movies. HELL they couldn't even format the latest artbook well (it's so bad). As much as fans and myself want more Sailor Moon media, the media side has not been kind to the creator, herself and as much as it pains me. Naoko has a right to walk away, do simple collabs by letting them slap her art on something or slightly change the visual look of a character to match what the collab is. It could be a lot less taxing on her than wrestle with other creatives on how her stories should be told. That said, I don't disagree on how hollow this feels to see Sailor Moon be a franchise. Sailor Moon was always a story first, franchise second and over the years it has just become a franchise and as people who have seen over consumerism, we read that as just a cashgrab. Not saying it isn't but also not going to lambast her, considering how many times she's probably felt screwed over her own story.
